A friend of mine asked me to write this story actually. I hope you enjoy it as much as she did:)

Rianna was bored. Samuel was more than 2 hours late and she was tired of waiting. So much for not being late ever again, Rianna thought angrily. With a huff she grabbed her bag and and was just about to leave when she heard someone call her name.
There stood her boyfriend correction her now ex-boyfriend who was apparently drunk.
"Where are you going babe?" he slurred "We have a date don't we?"
"Like hell we do asshole! You stood me up…again. Have fun being single, I know I will!"
And with that she stormed off only to be pulled back roughly by Samuel.
"Hey let me go you idiot!"
"No way bitch, you're mine!"
"No she's not" a voice rang out. "She clearly said that you were over, and so you have absolutely no control over her anymore."
The owner of the voice was a boy around my age. He had brown longish hair. He was thin but still I could see he was slightly built. On his arm I could see he had a tattoo. Some sort of a tribal symbol? I couldn't see it clearly but from what I could see, it looked incredibly cool
"Who the hell are you?" Samuel demanded harshly
"Someone who doesn't like the way you are treating that girl." he replied smoothly.
"Yeah? Well it's none of your damn business!! So just leave while you still can." he sneered
Taking advantage of Samuel's distraction, Rianna jammed her elbow into his side and in his pain he let her go and she ran to her savior's side, to Samuel and said,
"Listen to me you miserable excuse for a boyfriend, WE ARE THROUGH and I pity the next girl who even considers going out with you."
He glared at her and was about to say something when he was cut off.
"It seems like the lady has made her decision. We'll be taking our leave then."
And with that he grabbed her and dragged her away.
After a few minutes o walking Rianna felt the need to say something.
"Thank you, for what you did back there. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."
No response came from the guy and so she tried again.
"Really thanks for everything."
The guy suddenly stopped and turned to face me.
"Let's get one thing clear, I didn't do that for you, I just did it because someone needed to show that douche-bag how to treat people with manners."
Rianna was taken aback by his blunt tone. For a second she couldn't say anything, then she found her tongue.
"Still thank you."
He shook his head at her and started to walk away.
"Wait!!" She called after him, "I don't even know your name!"
"It's Nick" he called back
And with that she lost sight of him.
That night Rianna couldn't stop thinking about him. Just as she was drifting off to sleep she wondered if she was ever going see Nick again.
