Spilling Water Is Deadly
Monday...The worst day of the week...Why? I have double Maths. Its not the subject that's the worst, it's the teacher. Short and more wrinkled than a prune, the devil's right hand woman herself is , unfortunately, my maths teacher, Ms.Sara-Mary Black. Stupid name right? Well stupid names for stupid people I guess.
'Ms. Peterson!'
I jolted out of my thoughts and found everyone staring at me.
'Um yes?' I stammered. A few people snickered. Ms. Black smirked,
'Care to tell us what you were thinking so deeply about?'
I gritted my teeth,
'No I would not.'
'No I would not what?' She asked smugly
'No I would not Miss.'
She smiled showing us rows of grey, rotting teeth, 'Now was that so hard?'
She turned sharply, faced the board and said 'Now class, due to the fact that Ms.Peterson's deep thinking lost us precious time, we will be staying inside during lunch.'
The whole class groaned and I could hear mutters of 'Nice going Peterso'' and 'Its all Peterson's ' fault!' going round the class. I sunk lower into my seat trying to be invisible. I was going to kill that woman if it was the last thing I ever did.
* * * * * * * * * *
At the end of the day, Ms.Black was walking towards the main staircase. The poor woman slipped on some water and fell down the stairs. Apparently the fall injured her quite badly and she died in the very staircase she terrorized so many students. Had Ms.Black survived she would have said that someone pushed her and that she seen a tall person running away from the scene. I guess some secrets have to remain just that. A secret.
