Yunhee's POV
" hey, are you done with your chemistry report ? ", I looked up and met with a pair of smiley eyes, Jeno.
I nodded.
" can I take a look for a sec ? ", I lend him my report.
As expected, he's going to copy mine. Thank god Lee Donghyuck or Haechan wasn't in my class. It could have been worse. Well, I just don't want to deal with a troublemaker like him.
" I told you to finish it yesterday, right . Stop copying Yunhee. You're going to get into trouble later.", Huang Renjun, the transferred student, scolded his friend.
" It's okay Renjun. ", I gave a small smile to the boy who's in front of me.
Renjun is nice and kind-hearted boy. He's my best guy friend ever. He's always there and up for help. Never tired of my whines even sometimes he's in his evil self. Well, more to playfully being mean to me.
One quality that I envy him, pure kindness.
" So how's life Yunhee ? You and Jaemin . ", Jeno asked me so suddenly.
That unexpected question startled me. It's odd and awkward. Jeno is just a classmate of mine. Never too close with him but lately, he started to hang around with me and Renjun. Even when I whine about Jaemin to Renjun, he's all ears as well. Weird.
" We're fine....I guess...? "
" okay so what did Na Jaemin did to you this time ? "
Why he sounded like he's a little mad. Jaemin is his best friend though.
" nothing . He did nothing. ", I silently pray for Renjun's help.
But he just walked back to his seat . Mean Renjun is back.
I sigh.
Jaemin and I had gone strong for almost a year but we're at the phase where we both are fall out of love. I'm patient enough. I'm trying very hard. Maybe I wasn't enough though. He's been busying himself lately and kinda avoiding me at school. Sometimes. Well that sometimes felt like enternity.
I looked out thru my class' window. I saw him. Smiling.
It hurts.
*lunch break*
I sat with the boys, the DREAMIES. Well, I do have some girl friends. It just Mark, my brother, wants me to sit with him for lunch which makes me had to had lunch with his groupies.
Yunhee Lee as in Mark Lee's little sister . A girl who struggle, just to fit in. Who knew, a nerdy poetic girl is the infamous Mark's blood-related sibling.
