Collins' POV
We hadn't heard any news from the police for a while now, I was worried sick. Mom, Dad, and I have done everything we could possibly do to find Devan, and yet not a single drop of hope had fallen our way. I had a horrible nightmare the other night, it ripped through my heart like a claw through flesh, tearing me apart and leaving me to weep in pain and suffering. The dream was about Devan being taken away, ripped from his family and tortured till the day he died, everyday he would cry out to his family, and then he would look at me as if I was standing in front of him and say "You could have done something to help Collins, why didn't you?." Tears would be streaming down his face, then I would wake up, covered in sweat, and my heart racing.
I decided I needed to do something about finding Devan this morning, not that I wasn't already, but I knew I could do much more for him, it still was unbelievable, how could this happen to the best brother I could ever have, it just wasn't fair. Now that I thought about it, I had no idea where to start, what is the first thing I should do? Well, I should probably tell my fans what's going on.
"Hey mom!" I yelled.
"Yes honey?" she yelled as she walked towards my room.
"I need to tell my fans whats going on, but how?" She gave me a blank stare.
"You know, I was just thinking about that, and I have a feeling whoever kidnapped Devan wants you to do that, but I think we should keep it hush." A tear rolled down her cheek.
"Mom, I miss Devan." tears flowed over my eyes, mom came over to me and gave me a hug, she was crying too.
"I miss him too honey." Her voice quivered.
"I want to do something more to find my brother, I just don't know what to do." my voice quivered as well when I talked, and I tried to wipe my tears away.
"Honey, Sometimes... well sometimes things are just out of our control, and this is one of those things." she sat down on a chair and buried her face in her hands "And I really wish it wasn't."
Devan's POV
It was nearly noon and yet there was no sign of Clint and Rico around. Then it felt like realty dropped a boulder on me. Are they going to leave me here to starve to death? And for the next three hours that was the only thing occupying my mind, while hunger gnawed at my stomach. I sat there going over scenarios in my head, all it did was freak me out even more. My side was already bruised and sore, I was scared to death now, what were they going to do to me next? I heard gun shots outside, getting closer and closer, then I heard yelling. The door suddenly flew open, Clint and Rico ran inside, they grabbed my arms and stuck a bag over my head shuffling me out of the door and into a car. Gun shots fired towards us, I heard glass shattering all around me. My heart was racing, I thought I was going to get sick, was this really real? Or am I dead already?
