Sorry for the long wait, hope you enjoy!

Devan's POV

We drove for a long time along bumpy roads, Clint and Rico were constantly arguing about where they should go and what road lead where, I had no idea where we were, the road names didn't sound familiar at all. I really wanted to take the bag off my head, it was a cloth bag but super stuffy, I couldn't move with my hands tied all up. We came to a sudden stop, they flung their doors open simultaneously, then they grabbed me out of the car and shoved me to the ground.

"Do you know where you are?" Asked Clint

"I can't see, how would I." I didn't care how sarcastic or rude I sounded, I had enough of their games. Clint ripped the bag off my head, the sun blinded me. When I could finely see, I looked into the distance to see miles of dry desert like terrain with mountains in the distance.

"How about now?" Clint reached his hand towards his belt, my mind immediately thought he was reaching for a gun.

"No, I don't know where I'm at." I squinted up towards his face as the sun glared around his silhouette. Clint looked over at Rico and and gestured for them to walk away. I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but my heart raced at the thought of them taking off and leaving me in the middle of nowhere. my ears picked up one thing they said as they walked closer to me.

"No one drives on that road, we'll be fine." What did Rico mean? Were they actually leaving me here?

"Get comfy punk, you'll be sleeping outside tonight." Clint grabbed the rope around my hands and dragged me to the car, he tied me to the car so I wouldn't go anywhere, I don't know where he thought I was going to go.

The night was long, I heard mountain lions scream in the distance a few times, I thought for sure this was my last night, the screams would sound closer at times. But morning came fast, I had no idea how I fell asleep. Suddenly Rico ran over to me and quickly untied the rope.

"Get in the car now!" He seemed terrified, what was wrong? Clint put the pedal to the medal, we ripped through that desert, well, as fast as that car could handle. The tires squealed as we turned onto a blacktop road, his foot pinned on the gas.

"You need to cover his face again." Said Clint, so Rico reached back and stuck the cloth bag over my head, then shoved me down on the ground so no one would see me.

"CLINT! WATCH OUT!" I heard squealing tires and locked up brakes, It felt like we were flying side ways, we suddenly straightened back out with a jolt, Clint hammered it, redlining the poor old Pontiac.

"GO GO!" Yelled Rico "YOU CAN'T LET THEM CATCH US!" I then started to hear sirens. I wanted to jump for joy, was I going to be saved? It felt like we were going really fast, too fast for these curvy roads.

"Get the gun Rico!"

"Already?"

"Yes, this is our last chance!" I heard Rico cock the gun, then he fired multiple times.

"Shoot, I missed!" said Rico

"You idiot, how did you miss?" I then felt a heavy jolt, our car was hit, we were sliding sideways, both Clint and Rico gasped as I felt suddenly weightless. Was this the end?
