"Ah fuck son of a bitch" I yelled as I hit a wall and looked at the girl before me. The war hadn't ended though my father was dead and hunters were getting better. I hit the ground clenching my fists as the hunter ran at me gun pointed and about to fired a gun sho rang out. I question why I wasn't dead and saw the hunters body hit the ground carter standing behind it. "You can't be so reckless Eve" he said as he picked me up bridal style "I can handle myself Babe". Even though there was a war happening me and carter got married and he tried to protect me at all costs. "I'm not letting my wife get hurt by any means" I tucked my head into his jacket as he carried me back to the hideout took me into our room stripped me of almost all my clothes except my underwear bra and my shirt as he started to wrap my wounds. He cleaned them then wrapped them up. "Carter when is the war gonna ever end" I said as I gently grabbed his hand. He looked down at me and smiled "sooner or later my love it will". I felt sick to my stomach all of a sudden and ran into the bathroom to throw up. Carter held my hair out of my face my hair had gotten a little longer. "Are you ok Kat this is so sudden" carter asked as I sat up. "Y-Yeah I'm ok" I look outside and it was dark "let's get some sleep ok" I said as I slowly stood up and we laid down. Carter likes sleeping with his head on my stomach when we sleep and I'd put my hand on his head when we slept. We laid down and I closed my eyes and when I was about to doze off Carter shook me. "Babe get up I heard a heartbeat in your stomach" I sat up. "What's wrong Carter" I said half asleep "I think your pregnant". My jaw dropped and I got out of bed and called a friend who ran an underground hospital for humans but I was welcome there. "Hello this is G.Jones you've called the underground hospital how can I help you" I took a deep breath "Gray it's me". "Oh hey Kat what's wrong are you hurt" he had a little worry in his voice "no I need a pregnancy test done". He laughed a little "you and carter been busy huh come in tomorrow alright" I sighed "right see you tomorrow gray". I put the phone down and didn't sleep that night the next day we went to see Grey Jones a doctor and friend of mine and he set me up I took the test. I freaked out when he said congrats your gonna be parents. Why now during a war I have to fight.
