"Kat I really wish you'd wait for Blake to recover so we can go with you" I heard carter say as I pulled my old sword out and started getting different cloths on. "Carter if this woman is my mother she has worse intentions then my father and she has our daughter" I said putting my sword I my sheath on my belt. "Look babe she's mostly likely at the old vampire castle 5 towns over meet me there when Blake gets better" I said putting my jacket on. "Alright but be careful ok" she gently kissed me and I went off on my way. I walked and hid from people with guns for 3 hours before the sun set and I put my hood up walking. I then heard crying as I someone was in pain so I walked towards it as I came close to it it sounded like a child crying. "Hello is someone there" I said walking into an alleyway and saw a little girl hunched over crying. "Are you alright are you hurt" I gently touched her and I relieazed she was bleeding and I tried to help her but a gun cocked behind me and was put to my head "stand up you nasty vampire" a man's voice echoed in the alley way as I slowly stood up "I didn't do this to this little girl". I turned to face the man "may I know the name of my killer then" I said looking at the man "I'm Van Helsing a monster hunter and I have been given a deal to kill you and bring back your head to the vampire queen". I smiled "well Mr. Helsing you see I'm not your ordinary vampire I didn't do this to this girl and something I suppose my mother didn't tell you". He grabbed my arm "you can scream it as you burn in the sun" he dragged me off as I looked at the little girl. I was kept in a cell till an hour before dawn when men grabbed me and Van Helsing took my Blake putting it on his belt and they dragged me to town square as people gathered to watch a vampire burn in the sun. "So vampire ready to die" I laughed at the man "why are you laughing". The sun started rising and he yelled let her go and let her burn. The rays of sun hot my skin and I smiled and took a deep breath in. I put my hands in the air as people asked why isn't the vampire burning and I smiled "I don't burn in the sun fools now if you'll excuse me" I flipped Van Helsing over my shoulder getting my sword back to my belt and then climbing onto a house top "I'm off to vampires castle to save my daughter who love so dearly". I jumped from the roof and ran off towards the next town when I got to the border I heard a whistle. I turned around to see Van Helsing riding a horse and another one following behind him "hey kid I never caught your Name" I looked at him "if you really must know my friends call me Kat but vampires call me Evelyn". He looked over at me "well which is it" I smiled "for you it's Evelyn" he told me I could take the horse so I could make it there and save my daughter. "Why help me I'm half vampire" he smiled "cause most vampires don't have hearts and you miss Well you have one that's not complete without her". I thanked him and went on my way.
