Chapter 6

        'Urgh!' These last weeks had been hell to me, not to mention half or most of it came from the devil himself Damian himself. Currently, I'm still at the office another long ass day full with nothing but work, work and more damn work. Today Mr. Santiago the devil incarnate himself gave me an assignment that must be finished by midnight tonight or else it's my job.

         Can you imagine the nerve of this man, he only wants to give me a hard time, he wants to break me but I am not going to let him. Luckily I am almost done so I can leave here for the first time in weeks at the end of working hours like everybody else.

        I am glad I am going to be leaving soon because Kim has been little worried or maybe a lot a worried about me because I have been working so many long hours that it's starting to take a toll on me. I have not been eating right or even getting enough sleep at night to go to work tomorrow. Which leads to her walking in now without even acknowledging anyone that she's coming in, she just walked in like she owns the place.

"Why are you walking into my space like you own it?" I said to her.

     "I can't really talk right now Kim, I am in the middle of work right now, I have to finish this by midnight or bye bye goes my job meaning my income" I said looking up at her for a few seconds.

       She huffs at me then sat down in the chair in front of my desk that she dragged from the waiting room.

      "You can't just come in here like that you know, I could lose my job you know little missy" I said to her.

      "Yeah! Yeah! I know", "I am sorry, OK, forgive me, you know you love me and can't stay mad at me" she says.

"Yeah unfortunately" I said smiling at her.

"So what do I owe this pleasurable visit to" I added.

"Ah! It's already 5:00pm" she said nonchalantly. What!? It's already past four.

    "Shit! I've got to go. I had promised Crystal I would help her organize the nursery for the new baby. Are you coming with me?" I asked as I rushed to add the finishing detail to the work and send it to Mr. Santiago also gathered all the files I did today and ran to put them on his desk.

    "Well I can't, I'm going to go home to Aaron tonight. I'm sorry. He is coming to pick me up soon, we are going to have a romantic candle light dinner tonight and some hot steamy sex after if I am lucky" she giggles and looking off in the space possibly thinking of tonight.

    "Ewww. I don't want to know. La la la laaa la.... I don't want to picture you guys getting on" I said to her with my eyes closed and fingering stuck in my ears like a child would.

"Serena stop being childish" she said rolling her eyes at me.

     "He so going to be fuck me so hard with what I plan to wear for him today, can't wait for him to do me good on the balcony" she said with a mischievous look on his face.

     "I thinking of becoming an exhibitionist. What do you think about that......Hmmm?" she smirks at me standing up then says "You should try it sometime honey" while going out the door.

      I stood there for a couple of minutes shaking my head at her as I have one crazy best friend.I followed behind her soon after not before closing up the file cabinets. I caught up to her at the elevator and press the down button. We then parted ways when we reached the lobby, she went right into her prince charming's arms who was waiting by his car. After she gave him a very longing kiss they got in, wave goodbye and drove away.

   I waved back and gave them a small smile. I sigh then looked at my watch I curse then rushed to my car and drove out in a hurry almost hitting another car on the way out of the parking lot.
