Park Jimin was the devil! That was the conclusion Jungkook had just come to.
They were sat in a bar close to campus, listening to their art major friend, wax lyrical about his trip to France. There was a good little group sat around the table, hanging on the guy's every word.
But Jungkook's attention had been fixed elsewhere. Jimin had thought it would be amusing to play footsy under the table. And when his toes reached a little higher than expected, Jungkook lost his composure.
They liked to play these secret games in public. Little touches here, a lick of the lips there. It was kind of fun and added to the thrill of a covert relationship, but this time it felt different. Jungkook just didn't know why exactly. Maybe it was the alcohol he'd been drinking, or that shade of grey Jiminie had dyed his hair. Or maybe it was because he was wearing Jungkook's favourite sweater and it looked all kinds of good on him.
Whatever the reason, Jimin's little game had got him all worked up. A slow burn spreading down his body, until all he could think about was getting the little tease alone and doing some serious damage to him.
"Hey, you know Jungkookie was admiring that new sculpture outside the admin block yesterday" Jimin suddenly said to the group, forcing Jungkook's attention elsewhere for a while.
The little devil realised his flirting had gone too far, when he saw the unrestrained desire in Jungkook's eyes and knew he needed to find a way to cool him off a bit.
Jungkook cursed under this breath at the mention of that sculpture but forced a smile over to the art student.
They had come across the statue the previous day and 'admire' really wasn't the word he would use to describe how he felt about it. If he remembered correctly, his exact words had been 'that's the biggest piece of shit I've ever seen in my life.' A statement that had Jimin dropping to the floor in hysterics and Jungkook savouring the sound of his boyfriend's cute laugh.
"So, what did you make of the sculpture" the art major asked, and all the table turned to listen to his answer. Jungkook, rubbed the back of his neck nervously, as he spoke.
"Well.... I'm not really an expert in this stuff, but I thought it was... interesting" the shy guy replied, feeling the amused tight-lipped smile, radiating from his secret lover.
Thankfully, the art major liked the sound of his own voice enough to take Jungkook's answer and use it to regain control of the conversation.
But the distraction had worked. At being put on the spot, Jungkook's hunger had ebbed. That desire very much still there, but just lying dormant, slowly bubbling away.
The group talked a while longer, until they all voted to move on to some Karaoke rooms, but Jimin and Jungkook stayed behind. They preferred to end the night, just the two of them. Taking time to get to know each other better.
They would often just talk about their lives. Jungkook would tell about his mother before she passed away. About the trips to the beach they would go on as a family. And Jimin would tell him about life living with his infamous Aunt and how she was the only parent he'd ever known.
But that evening, Jungkook wasn't in the mood to talk. He didn't want to spend the night finding out new particulars of each other's lives. He wanted something else. He wanted to taste his boyfriends' lips, to feel Jimin's body wrapped within his arms.
"Let's go somewhere?" Jungkook begged, knowing he sounded reckless, but was way beyond caring.
The garden behind Jimin's apartment would have been the natural choice. Spending time fooling around on that yellow blanket in the dark, had provided him with some of his best memories. But colder weather was creeping in and it was just too chilly to go there now. So, they sat in silence and thought for a moment, before Jimin offered a solution.
