If I Could Turn Back Time

Chapter 2: The Flight

Nat sent everybody plane tickets which meant that Brianna had to drive down to her dad's the night before the flight and then ride with him to the airport in Atlanta cause she wanted everybody to leave the same day. It was the morning of the flight Brianna got her and Ellie ready and she had on her old cheer sweats and her old cheer t shirt on and her red head braided back into two french braids. Her dad got their stuff out of the car as she carried in Ellie on her hip with red pigtails and a pair of leggings and a hoodie. She walked into the airport and Sam said "Hey look what the cat dragged in." Bucky looked and his eyes went wide and Steve said "You alright?'

"She looks amazing." Bucky said.

Sam said "Hi Ellie you are a cutie you must get that from your mama." 

Wanda came over and hugged her and hugged Ellie. Then Bucky's wife came over to him and said "Who is everybody getting excited about?' 

Then Wanda moved and Noelle said "Your ex is coming to the wedding." 

He looked down and said "Yeah apparently Nat asked her to be her maid of honor and asked if her little girl could be the flower girl." 

Brianna walked over and said Hi to Nat and she said "Hi it's good to see you James. Whose this?'

"um this is my wife Noelle Barnes and my son Alexander" Bucky said 

"Oh.. um it's nice to meet you Noelle" she said as she realized who she was the girl that Bucky cheated on her with then said "This is my daughter Elliana but we call her Ellie." 

Bucky looked down and didn't see a ring on her finger and he said "Your husband isn't coming." 

"Um I don't have a husband anymore we got divorced 6 months ago." she said

Then her dad came over and said "Here's your tickets honey. James it's good to see you." 

"It's good to see you Preston." Bucky said 

Then they all went to the gate where their flight was taking off and her dad said "You doing ok?'

"No but I have to be right." she said

They board their flight and she got in her seats and got Ellie to sleep. She looked out her window as she put her headphones in after they took off. Bucky looked behind him to see her and he looked down and swallowed hard as he started to remember what he did to her all those years ago. 

She came down to surprise him for his birthday their freshmen year of college and she found him in bed with Noelle. They got into a screaming match in the parking lot as she tried to leave after she said it was over. She threw her promise ring at him and told him to fuck off. Noelle squeezed his hand and said "You ok?'

"Yeah I'm fine baby" he said 

Brianna eventually gave way to sleep as she held her little girl and her dad stayed up to make sure Ellie was ok. A few hours into the flight Ellie woke up and Brianna took her to the bathroom and changed her and got her something to eat and some milk but Ellie was tired of being on the flight and she started to get a little cranky as Brianna passed her between her and her dad till she got tired and fell back asleep. 

"Dad I need to go to the bathroom." she said as she wiped tears. 

"Brianna honey it's fine she's a toddler" Preston said as he saw his daughter get upset and stressed out. 

It wasn't so much that she was upset about the struggle with Ellie it was the fact that the only person that she had to help was her dad. She came back and sat back down and took Ellie back and went back to sleep herself. 

They finally landed in the Bahamas and they got to the hotel and she laid on the bed and said "Thank god." 

She sighed when she felt her phone buzz and saw a text from Nat. "Tonight Karaoke just the wedding party is allowed to come." 

"Nat what are you trying to do cause a fight?' She whispered

"What is it honey?' Preston said

"Nat said tonight is karaoke night with the wedding party only." 

"Honey you will be fine." he said 

They all 3 got some rest as it was night time in the Bahamas.
