Chapter 8

At Carol and Jay's dorm room in Auradon, they both were asleep while sitting during the printing of Fairy Godfather's magic wand. Just then, the sound of completion was heard; Jay woke up from hearing it. Jay became surprised as she nudged Carol to wake her up.

"Carol!"

"Hmm? What?" mumbled Carol as she was still half-awake.

She noticed the 3D printer was finished as she stared at the copy of the wand. She stood up and opened the printer, slowing taking the wand out from it.

"Not bad." she said.

"Yeah," agreed Jay.

"C'mon, let's go."

"Yeah."

They were about to leave, but someone called them just now.

"Hey, girls! What about me?" asked Dude, sitting on his personal cushion besides Carol's pillow.

"No, Dude. You need to stay," Carol told Dude to stay here one last time. "I'm serious, stay."

Dude whined in dismay as he had to stay here. He really wanted to help Carol and her friends no matter what.

"I love you, sweetie. We'll be back before you know it." she promised as she finally left with Jay.

As they began to head to the limo, they suddenly noticed Dot calling to them.

"Hey. Have you seen Eville?" she asked.

Carol couldn't tell Dot that Eville was at the Isle as she looked at Jay for help while she don't know what to say. Jay urged Carol silently as to let Dot know Eville went somewhere. "He went camping." she answered.

Dot was bewildered why would her boyfriend go to camping while raising her eyebrow and said, "Really? Eville-I-want-to-live-in-a-castle, sleeping on the ground with no place to plug in a hair dryer?"

"Well, you know he's very spontaneous, girl." explained Carol as she chuckled.

Jay laughed as she agreed, "Yeah."

"Later, Dot."

Once Dot already left, they finally headed to the limo, but they suddenly bumped into Lonnie, who was carrying a bag of swords of the Sword & Shields Team.

"I'm coming with you guys." Lonnie said, crossing his arms.

Carol and Jay were bemused and they both chuckled upon hearing it from Lonnie.

"We don't need swords at the..." Jay paused as she quickly finished, "Waffle Hut."

Lonnie stared at Jay, realising that Jay was trying to not to tell him that you were captured by Uma. He was dismayed that he himself wasn't that naive to accept Jay's excuse for going to the "Waffle Hut". He lowered his arms down and became serious.

"You're going to rescue (Y/n) from the Isle. It's either you take me or..." he then inhaled sharply as he shook his head. "I'll tell Fairy Godfather."

Jay and Carol knew that they didn't want Lonnie to tell the headmaster of Auradon. If he did, Auradon might declare war on the Lost of the Isle with the fate of their queen. Of course, they both didn't want that as well. They both sighed in defeat. Having no choice, they silently let Lonnie join them, much to his delight.

"Okay!" Lonnie smiled as he stood between Jay and Carol and wrapped his arms around their shoulders. And so, with Lonnie joining the VKs, they were all prepared to confront Uma soon.

At last, the day had arrived at Uma's pirate ship. The pirates were busy doing their own free time such as a young pirate was fishing at the pier. You, on the other hand, were all tied up to the mast. You didn't do anything to get yourself escape. If you did, well, let's just say something worse will happen to you.
