Chapter 10

After escaping from Uma, you finally headed inside the limo and escaped the Isle safe and sound. You've seen everything in the Isle. At first, being kidnapped by Uma and his pirate goons and understanding why you didn't invite more people from the Isle to Auradon. You sat with Mal, Carol, Eville, and Dude. Jay was driving the limo with Lonnie sitting on the front passenger seat.

You didn't say a word after escaping from Uma. You were panting with Mal. You stared at Mal and decided to make an apology.

"Sorry that things didn't go the way you wanted to..." you apologised, staring at the window.

Mal looked at you and replied, "I mean, as long you're safe, that's..."

He was unable to finish what he just said to you.

"Well, at least I got to see the Isle," you sighed. "And they're my people too. Uma helped me see that."

To Mal's shock, he exclaimed, "(Y/n), Uma captured you!"

"He's just an angry guy with a bad plan," you stated. "When you came to Auradon, that's not so different from you, Mal."

Mal couldn't believe what you just said as he gave himself a huff as he crossed his arms and stared at the window. The silence appeared. Although you broke up with Mal, things were getting slightly worst.

"Awkward..." commented Dude, watching the difficult moment of you and Mal.

"Dude, I know you can talk, but it doesn't always mean you should." said Carol, holding Dude in her arms.

And so, after crossing the magical golden bridge to Auradon, you all finally returned to school, walking around the courtyard. Lonnie began to bring the swords back to the gym. John finally found you and reminded you that tonight is cotillion. John showed you the complete glass stained version of Mal. His eyes were now glowing green.

You heisted and asked Mal, "Do you want to cancel?"

John realised that he went on a bad time and said, "You know what? I can come back. But like really really soon..."

"No, no. Now's fine." you replied as you didn't want to cancel the cotillion. You then turned at Mal and said, "Do whatever you need to do."

You left with John and Eville stood by Mal.

"We need to talk." he said.

Mal agreed.

Carol realised that the conversation would be just between Mal and Eville and said, "No."

When she said that, Mal and Eville turned at Carol.

"No?" replied Mal, in question.

"You two are always huddling, whispering with guy talk or whatever it is," Carol stated. "and me and Jay are getting tired of it."

"I'm not." corrected Jay.

"We're also a family," Carol explained. "And we've been through a lot together. So we are not stopping right now, okay?"

Mal nodded, agreeing with Carol.

"Everyone, sit," she said, sitting down on the grass while holding Dude, woofing.

Mal and Eville were speechless as Carol told them to sit down.

"Come on. That means you too." Carol also told Jay as well while Mal and Eville began to sit down.

As the four VKs finally sat down, the silence appeared. They just sat down, not making a conversation.

"I don't know how to start guy talk." confessed Carol.
