At the last step of the jounrney upwards, Po was fain to the pull of weight. Finally, his paw rested on the top, and then came the heaving of his entire body up the plateau.

From inside the fane of King Fu, a young lady spotted him. She dropped the battle staff and rushed towards open gates. "Where gave you been?" She yelled.

Po couldn't speak. The sun was touching hard into the deepest part of his eyes, so that the only Po could see was an endless white . A shadow darkened his face, and under this he could make out the definite contour of a feline ---a certain feline friend.

"Xuéshēng?" Po tilted away from the shadow, revealing the the marks, or rather the lack thereof, and the soft-brown pigmentation of a light panther.

"You were gone for days? Where were you?" She growled. Her teeth bear a sharper edge when she shows the hidden parts of her mouth, and in the snarl there was the making of fear to her victims.

Po, in an ignorant way, flouted this; in fact, he laughed at her.
"But I'm here now!" His arms spread open. Po refused to stand, the feeble makeup of his bones and the expensive and t
fattened contsruct that went around his thin skeleton had dragged him half-way to being deceased. "And I gotta tell you, being absent for two days was totally worth it."

"Ugh!" Xuéshēng tethered her arm to his. She swung him bsck up his feet. "Back to the palace panda. Master Shifu's been taking his anger on us."

Po walked alongside her. His hands idled on the sides but were tempted to find comfort on the other with the fiddling of their thumbs. They traversed the arena in quick strides. From afar was another flight of stairs.

"I met someone. She, well she's a she. I got knocked out by an enemy, and she was really kind to help me." Po finally spoke. "I think she'll be a friend... I don't know. She's really pretty. Not in my league or anything. I did find her a job..." Again, he was rambling. No one wanted to hear his anecdotes in his contorted and short and sporadic way of composition.

And yet her blue eyes wondered no further than the sides of his face. She even smiled. With this comfort in mind, Po felt good to ramble on. They began to climb towards the pinnacle of the Jade Palace.

"...and you know. I think I shoukd just tell you that."

"What's the name of your friend?" Xuéshēng asked.

"Ooh! Her name is Tigress!"

"...a feline."

"Yes!"

"Well isn't that great."

Po took no affect to her broadside. "I know right! Maybe you guys could be friends too!" He grabbed her shoulders, "She's a bit younger than us but she's really cool. You want to? Just hang iut sometime."

"Like I have time for freetime." Xuéshēng loosened from his grip. "

"Oh don't worry. She works by dad's noodle shop so it won't be hard to meet her. She's knew here, and as Dragon Warrior," He stopped, "I would like to make her feel the hospitality of our valley."

"No. How about you do your real job. Like not ditching two days off , train, and protect the valley." She placed a hand across the breadth of his back, ushering him to continue headway.

Po shook his head. "Like I said. I lost to a boar and I was unconscious for two days! You can't blame me for that right?"

"Yes I can. If only you trained harder, future Dragon Warrior, then maybe you wouldn't be struggling to defeat a regular criminal---"

"He's not just a regular criminal, the boar's powerful..."

"And that's not the point you idiot. Just accept that your not training hard enough."
