Andreas’s POV

The rain is painting the entire city monotone outside and it’s steady pinging against the roof and walls are making me feel sluggish and lazy.

“Work work work work work work” I was making my breakfast while singing to “work” by Rihanna. Speaking of work, holy crap ! I’m late...

Burst of panic floods my chest and I immediately wore any comfortable clothes on. I snatched my house keys on the table and went to work as fast as a cheetah, not paying attention that the rain keep pouring over me and I’m soaked. Thank god, I was on time.

Finally I’ve finished my shift for today. The time now is 6:37pm. It’s pleasantly cool outside when I start to head home, the sky beginning to dim in the late afternoon light above the city’s smog. I stopped by a sushi shop to grab some.

I was scanning through the sushi’s that was displayed. Just then a melodic voice was heard behind me. I turned my heels to the voice and guilt took over me. It was the guy from yesterday. I felt really sorry because I did not thanked him for helping me but instead I acted harsh towards him.

While thoughts were playing in the back of my head, I accidentally dropped my wallet. I bend down to pick it up but my head collided with a really hard thing. I groaned in pain. But I wasn’t the only one, I looked up to see him rubbing his temple.

“You, again?” I scoffed. I don’t know why but I just can’t tolerate him.

“Umm are you Andreas Steinhoff by any chance?” He asked.

My eyes widened, shocked by the fact that he knew my name.

“H-how do y-you.. hold up, did you stalked me?” Now I’m really creeped out.

“Ah, love the wild thoughts you’re having about me.” He grinned sheepishly, ignoring the question I just asked him.

“I’m Isaac, and nope I’m not a stalker especially when it comes to you” he chuckled.

He carefully took out something from his pocket. What is that?

“Why do you have my card ?” I eyed him suspiciously.

“Hey shorty, you dropped it when we bumped onto each other, don’t you remember? You really have the habit of dropping things. I wonder if one day you would even notice if you lost your child.”

“Don’t call me shorty” I snorted.

“Thank you for your kind act Mr Isaac” I said sarcastically. With that, I turned my heels and walked away empty handed.

Author’s POV

Andreas scoffed and walked pass Isaac which he leaves an intoxicating traces of perfume follow behind him.

He smells good”. Thought Andreas.

Isaac was walking in the dark night along the street taking some fresh air to clear his troubled mind when the memory of Andreas took over. He was sure that he had met her somewhere but he just can't recalled where and why everytime he made eye contact with her, she reminds him of someone that was once deared to him during high school.

Isaac tapped his fingertips on the silver rail with his left hand gripping onto his phone. While scrolling through his instagram, his eyes scrutinised at the picture that he discovered from the explore. Just when he recognised the person in the picture, his lips formed into a smile.

"Andreas_steghrf" he whispered while grinning. Without wasting any time he pressed the 'follow' button.
