Scanning through my fridge only to find nothing but three eggs. So I cooked them. I really love eggs so much. I just don’t get why but they’re like my medicine when I’m stressed out. To put it together, I’m obsessed with eggs. It gave me the nostalgic feel when I was young, the time when I didn’t have issues or problems to care of and the memories of me eating eggs with my family.I designed my eggs into a heart shaped just to feel loved. I placed my heart shaped eggs on the plate with cucumber as a side dish. As for my drink, I have my one and only favourite tea; green tea.
After I devoured my breakfast, I went straight to work. It’s basically my everyday routine. Arise from bed, make breakfast and went to work. For Today’s outfits, I opted for a cream silky shirt with black jeans and boots. I love wearing boots, it makes me feel comfortable.
As usual, I take people’s order from table to table. While taking orders, my eyes diverted to the guy that just entered the cafe. Who is he? I scrutinised my eyes to have a better view of him. Still, not a single idea of who he was.
When he took out his shades, I was star-strucked. He was indeed, strikingly attractive. He was tall, lean, with beautifully proportioned body. His silky brown hair was straight and his beard was well shaved. He looked so manly that I feel like fainting right now. My boss gestured to me take his order. I nodded and made my way to his table. Oh his not alone. He was seated with a man in his late forties I assumed?
“Good morning sir, may I take your order please?” I asked very politely. My hands were shaking and my legs were trembling but I tried to control myself. When his eyes pierced straight into mine, I shifted my gaze to my notebook. I was so nervous that I started fiddling my fingers. But he looked familiar to me, Very familiar indeed.
“Ah yes, One caramel latte and one...” he averted his eyes to the guy sitting in front of him.
“I’ll have caramel latte as well” he smiled.
“Is that all sir?” I asked making sure that was all.
“Yes” he nodded.
I turned my heels to the kitchen when the guy called me again.
“Excuse me” he gestured me to come back.
I walked towards their table and smiled sweetly.
“Yes Sir, anything else?” I asked again.
“Do you really didn’t recognised me?” The hot guy asked as he positioned himself straight on his chair as his eyes never leave mine.
“Pardon?” I was confused by his sudden question.
“It’s me, Isaac. Remember? The guy that you bumped two weeks ago?”
That’s when realisation hits me. No wonder he looked so familiar. He looked like a completely different person. When I bumped him and when the second time we met at the sushi shop, he was wearing just a plain t-shirt with jeans. But now, he looked like a billionaire in his navy blue suit and he was well dressed yet beautiful. The thing is, now I already know that he was my crush three years ago. How am I supposed to react? My heart is like a train pounding down the tracks right now. Taking a deep breath, I said
“Hi..um.. I mean h-hello?” Why am I stuttering? Gosh, now I made myself looked like a fool.
“Excuse me Sir, I need to make your caramel latte” with that, I spun around and left.

I couldn’t sleep that night. My mind was occupied about him. Many questions were dancing in my head. Why? Is this fate? Why do I often see him lately? Why he came back into my life when I tried my best to moved on. He looked like a wealthy man, is he a boss by any chance? So many question that cannot be answered. But I hope, it remained unanswered.
