The way his lips felt on mine was... odd.

I never really thought of Kai as a boyfriend. I may of had a crush on him for a little bit, but covinced myself that he would never like me like that.  We broke apart.

"Why'd you do that?"I asked.

"Shane, I've liked you ever since we met. I covinced myself that you'd never love me like I love you. I needed to do that before you left for London." he replied

"For years I had a crush on you. I did the same. But..." I trailed off in thought.

"But what?" he asked me.

"This can't happen, Kai. You and I can never happen. All of my 'Best ' guy friends ended up kissing me and then once  we broke up, we never talked again. I can't let that happpen to us. I just can't." I said.

"Shane, listen to me. If we went out, we would never break up. I love you way to much to let you go. I would never hurt you. I'd never let you get hurt." He replied.

"I'm going to London.That's four hours away. Long distant relationships don't last." I said to my best friend.

"We'd make it work."

I was about to reply when there was a knock on the car window. Kai rolled it down and I saw Harry.

"Shane! Thank god! You had us worried sick!" he said.

"And who are you?"Kai asked.

"Harry Styles." he said back.

"This is who I'm going to be living with."I said quietly.

"You'll be living with a guy?" Kai asked. Not to me or Harry. just out to the open.

"Yeah I thought we covered that? Hary is  the son of my mum's friend. He said I can stay with him until Mum gets back." I told Kai.

"You're Mum sent me to run after you once you ran out." Harry said.

"I bet she knew I was going to call Kai." I mumbled.

"Kai, I'll text you once I get to London."I said.

"I'll miss you Shane."

"I'll miss you to." I said as I kissed his cheek.

I got out of the car and Harry shut the door. I looked back at the car and my best freind. I noticed Harry looked kind of protective of me when I was with Kai.

We walked back in the house and I saw my mother come back down the stairs with a suitcase.

"I packed all of your clothes. All of the things you'll need." she said.

I can't believe my own mother didn't let me pack my own things.

"Why couldn't I pack myself?" I asked.

"You were gone for two hours. You wouldn't of had the time to."she said. 

I went up to my room and sat on my bed. My room looked deserted. My drawers were empty. Pictures were gone. Even  my lava lamp that I had on my dresser was un-plugged and on the floor.

"Knock knock." Harry said as he opened the door.

"Hey."I said.

"I know this is hard for you, but it's not that bad."he said.

"Well, let me think. I'm getting torn away from my best friend,school,and my home all in one day. I have to move four hours away from everything I've ever known. How can this be good?" I ask.

"Wait till you meet my guys. They will love you.And I can promise you will love them too." He said.

I hope hes right.

Once I  said bye to my mum, I got in the car with Harry and Edward. I sat in the back with Harry.

It was about an hour before the silence broke.

Harry started singing along to the song on the radio. God, his voice was perfect. Perfect in every way.

I didn't realize that I was singing along until he stopped and looked at me.

"Why'd you stop?" I asked.

"I wanted to hear you sing.Your voice is amazing." he replied.

"Hes right. You have a really good voice." Edward said.

I blushed and tried to get some sleep.
