Where Our New Story Begins

{Chapter 7; New Faces}

Kaycee's Pov

Once Sean parked the car we both got out of the car and rushed into the hospital checking in with Kenneth who was in the waiting room waiting for us, he seemed excited as we walked to the room to see Bailey. 

Walking into the room I stopped in my tracks as I saw Bailey sitting in bed with their baby girl in her arms, smiling I walked over slowly and sat beside her looking at the new face that was looking back at me. I looked at Bailey hugging her gently "Bails she's so pretty" I said tearing up, leaning my head on Baileys shoulder I looked over at Sean giving him puppy eyes "Sean..." I said while he shook his head "We are not having a baby, not yet" he said sternly "But baby look at her" I said getting up and pulling him over to the bed pointing at the baby "Kaycee were not having a kid, we just got beck from our honeymoon" he said laughing while putting his arms around my waist as I pouted.

Third Person Pov

Bailey had Kenneth place the sleeping baby into the little crib the doctors gave them and turned to her friends Kaycee and Tahani who sat on her hospital bed with her "So what was it like?" asked Tahani who seemed very interested with everything. "Well it hurt like hell but once she was born all the pain you feel leaves and you're overwhelmed with love and tears" Bailey laughed before shrugging "Other than that it wasn't terrible" she added while Kaycee smiled softly "I'm so happy for you and Kenneth Bail, he treats you well and I can tell he's happy to have this baby with you" she said making Bailey tear up "You're so sweet I can't believe I get to call you guys my sisters" Bailey said hugging them both. 

The hug was short lived when Kaycee got a phone call so the girls all pulled away as Kaycee got up and picked up "Hey mom whats up" the girl said with a smile that soon faded once she heard the news she got "No...." she said before hanging up "I have to go I'm so sorry, Kylie got into an accident" she said grabbing her purse and her keys out of it before saying goodbye and headed out of the hospital room.

Sean's Pov

I walked back into Baileys hospital room seeing two out of three girls that were there when me and Kenneth left to go get everyone something to eat, worry quickly took over my body as I looked around for Kaycee "Wheres Kayc?" I asked the two girls who seemed to be in shock "She just left, her sister got into an accident" said Tahani and I immediately grabbed my things heading out. 

Getting into my car I started it and started to drive off while calling Kaycee and a sigh of relief escaped my mouth when I heard her pick up "Kaycee, where are you right now" I asked worry laced in my voice as I stopped at a red light "I-I'm at t-t-the house...my parents Kylie got into an accident" I heard my wife say clearly sobbing. I knew how close Kaycee and Kylie were you couldn't break the bond that the two had "Alright I'm on my way" I said before hanging up.

I parked my car and rushed inside, Kylie was like another sister to me and seeing her hurt would hurt me as if I was seeing one of my sisters hurt. Coming around the corner into the living room I saw probably one of the worst things in my life, there Kylie sat with all her family with bruises and scratches "What the hell happened" I blurted out as they all looked up at me "Kylies boyfriend abused her" was all that came out of their mother Laura's mouth. 

I don't know why but I felt super angry when I heard what happened "What?' I asked feeling the blood boil in my body as Kaycee walked over to me "Sean calm down we have everything handled" I looked down at her and sighed "If I find him I'm going to kill him" I said before pulling Kaycee in for a tight hug "Don't let any man lay a finger on you like that alright?" I said looking down at her as my hands cupped her face while she giggled "You sound as if I'm dating someone else and you're giving me the best friend talk" she said placing her hands on mine. I looked around before kissing her lips gently "I'm saying his because I know Gabe's done this to you before so as your best friend and husband, stay safe okay. I care to much about you to let something like this to happen to you again" I said as she simply nodded and with that I walked over and sat beside Kylie gently hugging her.

We have been at the Rice house for a few hours since Kaycee didn't wanna leave her big sisters side so we decided to stay for dinner that I made since I felt like I need to pay back this family for everything they've done for me over the years. I was finishing putting my shoes on and grabbed my keys when I heard Kylie laugh "Kaycee I'll be fine go home and cuddle with your husband and be thankful you have him because you truly deserve someone like him Kayc" I over heard the older sister say as Kaycee hugged her one last time before coming into few "Lets go, I need a nice hot shower and a glass of wine" Kaycee said opening the door "You sound like we have kids" I laughed before closing the door behind us.

Kaycee got right into the shower once we got home so I decided to pour us both a glass of wine and turn on an episode of The Office for when she got out. That night Kaycee didn't leave my side and soon fell asleep so I turned off the tv and laid down cuddling her close before falling asleep myself.

Not really how I wanted this chapter to turn out but I'm blanking right now so oh well.
