I've decided to stop titling the chapters bc I couldn't think of a title for the last chapter lol. Also... you're welcome for an early chapter. (Thanks to my english teacher)
Class continues as normal, but the whole class seems to be looking at me.
The class ends. Ms. DeMuro approaches me. She says " Can you stay after for a moment? I need to give you something."
"Okay."
She takes out a piece of paper and writes something on it.
"Do you have a phone number?"
"Yes."
She hands me the piece of paper and then writes me a note to give to my next teacher in case I'm late.
"That is my phone number. I gave you that so I can give you news on your possible adoption. Have a good day!"
"Thank you!"
I go to my next class. I'm only 2 minutes late. I give the teacher the note.
The rest of the school day is boring, as usual.
I get on the bus to go to my place of living. I refuse to call it home.
I put my hopefully future aunt's number in my phone. I send her a message.
" hi this is Camren."
"Okay. Thank you for texting me. My sister and frank said that they want to meet you. Are you free this evening?"
"I will have to ask."
I get to my destination and get off of the bus. I walk home and I see them in the living room. The smell is strong.
I'm not sure what it is, but it doesn't smell good.
