Julia's POV:
"Hey honey, how was school today?" Dad asks me as I hop into the passenger seat. Oh, by the way, my dad is Steve Rogers.

Or some of you might know him as Captain America. "Alright." I replied, shrugging. Maybe now would be a good time to bring it up to him. "Hey, Dad?"
"Yeah?" He makes a right turn. "I mean, this is kind of random, but do you think on your next mission I could come with you? I've always wanted to like, be your sidekick."

He's silent for a moment, and looks like he's in deep thought. "I'm sorry, Julia. But it's too dangerous. I can't risk anything ever happening to you, sweetheart." He says, looking at me as we made a stop at the stop light.

I sighed. "I knew you were gonna say that."
He chuckled and started to drive again. "Maybe someday. Just not now. Especially when Ultron could still be out there."

I sighed and looked out the window, and thought I started seeing things. My eyes widened and I sat up more to see what was going on. It looked like a giant hole in the sky formed. "Uhh... Dad? Is that normal?" I asked, pointing up to the sky. He stopped the car at the next stop light and looked at me puzzled.

"Is what normal?" He asks, looking out my window. His eyes widened. Ok, so he saw the same thing I saw. I'm not going insane here. "Julia, stay in the car!" He ordered, pulling over and getting out. I looked out my window and saw him, Captain America, looking up at the sky and getting ready to fight.

"Dad!" I yelled, worried about what was going to happen. "I said stay in the car!!" He said again, as I stuck my head out the window. I felt like I was in a science fiction movie when I saw about 3 alien like creatures come down out of the hole.

"Captain." One of the creatures said. I gulped. They started to say something else, but I couldn't understand it.

"Earlier today, in Manhattan Square some alien like creatures came down to Earth for an encountering with Captain America. No one knows who they are, where they're from or what they wanted, but America seemed to have scared them off. Hopefully they won't be bothering us anytime again soon. In other news, the hurricane is set to be a category 4 in..."

"So how was school today, sweetheart?" Mom asks as she washes the dishes, listening to the news with me. "It was ok." I said, shrugging. I looked at the little black TV on our counter top and continued watching.

The front door then opened. "Hey. I'm back." Dad said, removing his mask. "What happened?" I asked with concern, even though I didn't seem to find any injuries.

"Oh, it was just...nothing." He said. He looked worried for a second, then shook his head. Something must've happened. They must've said something to him. He didn't seem himself right now. "Are you sure?" I ask. He stopped in his tracks, but he didn't turn around. "It was nothing, Julia. Don't worry about it."

Suddenly, I saw on the news that the street began breaking! Like, actually breaking apart! And people and cars and stuff were falling into it. "Uhh...now the street's breaking everywhere!" I said, pointing to the screen.

He turned around real quick and watched the screen. "I'm sorry Julia, I'll be right back again." He said, kissing my forehead real quick before rushing out of the house with his Captain America mask and shield. That's it. I'm going to go with him this time, I don't care if he doesn't want me to go.
