Chapter 2

I woke up my head pounding and I shot out of bed remembering what Axel had said. What did he mean I had to change? My appearance? What am I supposed to change.

“I'm so confused Athena.” I say looking towards my lovely bird.

“He means change the way you live” she cawed.

“ I must be losing my mind I could have sworn you just talked to me”

“I did ,now if you would please excuse me I would like to be human again.” She said flying away towards my bed room. She came back in no less than five minuets. She was a girl who looked to be about my age. Her hair was raven black and short. One of her eyes was dark like a ravens would be, the other was bright green and strikingly familiar. She wasn't short but she wasn't very tall ether. She wore some clothes bar owed from me. They hung off her small frame making her look quite funny.

“ You have a lot of explaining to do Athena.” I say looking at her.

“yes I know and this might take quite a long time so I recommend taking a seat.” she says looking sadly back at me. I moved to sit on the couch in my living room and she sat across from mi in an arm chair.

“first thing first my name isn't Athena it's Raven. So I would appreciate it if you would call me that.” I nodded looking at her eyes the green one looked so familiar but I couldn't quite place it. “So when Axel died you made him a promise to live well, and you two unknowingly made a deal that if you didn't meet what Axel thought was to live well you would die.” I look at her starting to get mad how dare she accuse Axel of practically trying to kill me. She starts to speak again.

“Axel didn't relies what he had done until about three years ago that's where I come in to things. He wanted to keep an eye on you but he can't come back here. So we made a deal I help him keep an eye on you and he helps me with something in return. At the time you were blocking everyone out of your life because you felt responsible for your family and friends death. So we figured that if I came as a person that you would just block me out but, if I came as an animal who needed your help it might show you that you can still do good. Turns out I'm a raven probably because of my name. I'm not entirely sure why now you have to change but you do so I’m here to help in any way that I can.” she finished her long speech and looked at me. Now I know why her eye looks so familiar it looks like Axle's

“So now I guess I have to change don't I.”

“Yep I'm afraid so” she says smiling.

“ so you said you would help how exactly do you plan on doing that?” I ask her questioningly.

“well I'm going to high school with you.” she says looking at me with a large smile. I can't help but smile back I think I just made my first friend seine Axel. Changing might not be so bad after all.
