prologue

"I am the water as a am the sea I am the wind and the sky. The rich soil under your feet that keeps your planet alive although it is dying and soon I will die with it and when I do your world as you know. Everyone's world as they know it will die with me."

"So you may ask me why I summoned you Yuffie"

"Why"

"You must summon the guardians"

"And how so great Falkor"

"They are simply humans they do not know anything you will summon them, to train them"

"And then what great Falkor"

"You must simply bring them to me"

"Then what will you do"

"I will unlock them"

"Where will I find them?"

"New York."

"And beware it will be harder than it has ever been known to summon these guardians."

Chapter one (Lenny)

I can feel myself begin to wake up. My lovely dream of the lake fading away, out of reach.

Sun.

It's warmth spreading through my body.

Cloud.

Cold as it covers the sun. the warmth.

I look up expecting to see a dark cloud.

I freeze.

There is no cloud.

It is a person standing in front of me kind of on top of me but not quite.

But there is no person its one of those things that you just know without seeing.

"GET OUT!!!" I yell panic

"No one can hear you this is a dream"

"GET OUT OF MY DREAM THEN!!!"

"..."

"Wait how can you enter my dreams"

"For the answers, you seek, Meet me outside. At the park"

Before I can ask how I am supposed to meet him outside when I am in a dream he disappeared along with the warmth of this dream.

I wake up.

I change into a light blue tank top and jean shorts. (be careful w that) I was about to step out my room and changed my mind, it might not be the best idea. So instead I opened my window and climb out.

There was the man, well not exactly a man, he had pale hair and one of his arms is a sword in itself. There is some mysterious writing on the handle.

"Do you have my answers?" I say trying to keep my voice as steady as I can.

"Here eat this it will tell you all," he says like this is normal.

Without hesitation, I plopped the mini muffin in my mouth and the second it hit the rough skin of my tongue I was sucked up in another dream.

* * *

The answers weren't weird at all as it would be for normal people but I wasn't normal.

In fact, something inside me clicked like it was there the whole time:

I am not alone.

There are others.

I have powers humans could only dream of having.
