Chapter 8

It's been 4 days since I've seen kiseop last. I wasn't sure if he was in the building or not. It's just that I haven't seen him around. I have to admit I miss him a bit.
"Rose" jane came running towards me hooking my arm.
"So we have a company meeting today"
"We do?" I said surprisingly.
"yes we do". I was a bit happy! Hopefully I can finally see him.
I and jane arrived at the meeting hall. We took our seats next to each other. The other interns from different stations arrived. I didn't expect this much people worked at the company. I scanned the room looking for him. The room lights suddenly went dim as kiseop made his entrance on the podium. He looked hella fine as the light focused on him. He spoke into the microphone. His lovely voice filled the room causing my heart to flutter more.
I watched as people wrote down notes on their paper, while I was distracted by him. He then finished up with his final statement and left the podium. I wished he stayed longer.
"Did you get anything down" jane asked.
"What?"
"This girl! You never pay attention" she said poking at my forehead. I lightly smacked her on the arm. "Watch it!". I quickly copied her notes down.
Mr. Johnson announced on the mic. "The company will undergo on a trip to Seoul city for 3 days to expand more on our company business. Mrs. Jane and Mr. Eli from intern A would be in charge of paring groups together. The information would be available in a few days. Jane sighed and rest her head on my shoulder. "Kill me already. This is to much work".
"you will live." I said while patting her head. She let out another sigh. Soon the lights went back on its normal settings. Interns exited out of the room as the meeting were over. I hooked my arm with jane's. I scanned the room again if I could see him. He came in eye contact and smiled. I turned away shyly and blushed like a little girl. "What's up with you,why are you smiling" she said looking around the room.
"Nothing let's go" I said hitting her arm.
*few days later
I packed my casual and finest clothes into my suitcase. I was excited that I was leaving for Seoul. I was glad I would be spending it with my best friend and of course seeing kiseop. I walked out of my home and i surprising met jane at the door steps. "Hey you." She smiled waving at me. "How did you get here." I asked.
"Duh...My car"
I rolled my eyes at her statement. She kindly placed my luggage in the car trunk. We entered the car and begin our journey to the company.
"So are you excited" the tone in her voice were filled with excitement.
"Of course! I'm glad I would spend it with my best friend."
"It's good I paired us together." She said looking at me and back at the road.
"It wouldn't be fun without me of course." I joked.
"Don't push it"
I laughed in response.
We arrived at the building. The front of the building were crowded with interns and their luggage's. I and jane rushed behind the crowd. Mrs. Thompson rushed to the front of the crowed.
"Shuttttt up!!! You crazy clowns"
The air grew silence quick. No one really liked her. She's smart and all but her altitude is a turn off.
"Since Mr. Johnson isn't here to control this hectic mess. The pairing of the groups have been changed. This poster in my hand determine who your going to be with. You will sit next to this person on the bus and share a room with them also" She walked up the company wall and placed the poster on and ran blue tape around the edges of the poster.
Jane and I gave each other puzzled looks. We both walked up to the poster. I scanned her name around the poster. "Your with Eli" I exclaimed. She looked disappointed.
"Well let's see who your with." She stated
My eyes wondered around the poster. I hope I had someone good. My name was placed next to Kiseop.
"Kiseop!?!" I and jane stated at the same time. I cursed under my breath. I had mixed emotions, whether to be happy or disappointed. I really wanted to spend this 3 days with jane. Jane hugged me tightly. "This must be hard for you"
I held her tightly and rested my head on her shoulder. "I know".
I watched kiseop walk out of the company building. I felt my heart fall into my stomach. He wore his casual clothes apart from his working clothes. I swear he did look good in black. I shut my eyes slowly. We parted from our hug and dragged our suitcase into the traveling bus. I watched jane place her suitcase in the luggage department above her seat. I picked up mine and tried placing it in the luggage department. I felt someone behind me. The scent smelled familiar. I looked at the corner at my eye. It was kiseop. He placed my suitcase properly and placed his in. I thanked him sincerely. I sat close to the window and while he sat next to me. I felt nervous and somehow insecure. I bit my lip nervously and gazed at the window. "Rose?" He spoke out. I loved how he said my name. "Uh-ye-s." My voice was a bit shaky. I felt embarrassed.
"So were paired up huh" he looking at me. "Well I guess"
"This is actually good, so I can know you a lot better." He said nodding his head. I smiled in response. He pulled out his laptop and begun typing away. You could tell his a busy guy who takes his work seriously.
I wish I can talk to him in a comfortable way but I'm just too shy. I hated myself so bad.
Few minutes later he peeled his eyes off his laptop as he closed it shut. He placed it on the back of the chair pocket. He stood up close to me and reached into his suitcase. His shirt lifted revealing his v live and black & gray boxers before my eyes. My heart raced as I took in take of air. He slipped back into his seat. He cheerfully smiled at me. Why is he doing this to me. His flaws are making me die in the inside. At the corner of my eye, he placed his brown neck pillow around his neck and lowered his chair a bit. Good enough no one sat behind us. I turned to his direction and he looked peaceful with his eyes shut. I admired how his chest rises with the intake of each breath. I had the urge to kiss him..wait what I'm I thinking! I must be going crazy. Obviously it wouldn't happen. I pushed those thoughts away. "Why are you looking at me, I'm I that good-looking" he said growing a smirk on his face. I turned away flustered. Blushes crept up to my face as my face heated in embarrassment. I constantly slapped myself mentally.
The bus ride has been hours as I watched the sky grow darker through the bus window. I was a bit bored. My eyes hovered back at Kiseop. He slept there like a baby. I laughed quietly. As soon as the bus turned, his head flew out of the chair. I undid my seatbelt quickly and pulled his head slowly Back to position. I grabbed a blanket from my suitcase and placed it over him while I slipped back into my chair. His head moved closer towards me resting on my shoulder. I bit my tongue nervously. I fluttered my eyes multiple times unknowing what to do. I tried moving my shoulder upwards to make his head go back into the right position. He moved his head A lot closer to my neck causing my heart to beat crazy. I Shut my eyes slowly and gave in.
Jane P.O.V
What's up with this crazy bitch. She not replying to my message. I looked over at Eli, he looked like he was enjoying his sleep. I grabbed my phone and slid past through Eli's legs. I walked to front of the bus. I noticed Kiseop our C.E.O resting his head on Rose's shoulder. Which was unbelievable. I smiled at their cute moment. I fixed the blanket, pulling it more on Rose. They sure looked comfortable. I pulled out my phone and took a picture. I looked down at it and sent it to her phone. I'm such a good friend I giggled. I quietly returned back to my seat, since people were snoozing off. I tired sliding pass Eli's legs as soon the bus bumped up. I fell into Eli's lap. He fluttered his eyes open unexpectedly. His eyes grew wide upon my presence. I got off his lap quickly and slipped back into my seat. The bus driver turned off the lights. Thankfully he couldn't see how red my face were. I closed my eyes and sleep came over me.
