chapter 1

Layla's p.o.v

  (Beep beep) I look at the clock and it says 8:00, I turn it off and role to the other side of the bed .

Not 10m later I feel a shove ,then wham!!!, I'm in the floor.

"Oww..."

I sit up to my best friend with a smirk on her face.

"Time to get up!!!"

"Ugh... Why!"

" Because we're searching for jobs today!"

"Fine!" I gave her a scowl look.

"You know you love me."

Then she walked out to get ready.
I get up and go over and look for something to wear.

Her names rose, we met after I was pushed by are high school bully.

Then after I busted my elbow ,  she punched him in the face and gave him a bloody nose.

Ever since then we've been best friends! Then after high school we went to college. She pursued being a nurse ,and I pursued being an artist.

Now we share an apartment and we both pay half's rent.

I decide to wear(the image up top) it's supposed to be warm but  windy so I decided to wear this.

I'm dressed , did my make up and my hair and ready to go.

See I'm the shy one ,now rose is the opposite, she is the wild and outgoing!

We look for what felt like hours until rose finally found a job , at a club ,she's a waitress and starts Friday night .

I thought I found a job until the guy that i spoke to Wednesday told me already hired some one else.

"Don't worry lay!, I'm sure you'll find a job soon ,Monday I'm off so I can help you look for a job .

She said as she put on her uniform.

I look to see what's on tv ," i know but i should already be working by now !"

"Its only been 2 months , you won't be on the streets , I promise."

She smiles , " besides you won't need a job soon , you'll find your one and only!"

"Right..." I said sarcastically.

" I'm serious you'll meet him and then hell ask you to marry him , then y'all have kids..."

"I see you got my life all  planned out ?"

"Oh shut up I'm just saying...!"

" right well no one will want me , I'm to big to love!"

Then I get a smack on the head

"Owe..!"

"don't say that, your gorgeous lay! And the one that's meant for you will  love you for you! , beside you know every man loves a curvy woman !"

She winks and leaves for work.

Oh my gosh my best  friend is so crazy.

2h later

I'm sitting at a table on my phone  when ...

BAM!

i look up and I see rose with a frustrated look.

"what are you doing , your supposed to be having fun , go out and dance , go mingle,drink something besides water it's a bar not a birthday party!"

" im having fun !" I smile the best I can.

She gives me a yeah sure look.

"Alright ,I've got one hour left then when I'm done I'll go change into a dress then we can party!"

She smiled then walked away with her drink tray.

I just role my eyes.

I look over and there's a guy on the other side of  the bar that is breath taking.

I've seen hot guys trust me when I say that he's a greek god compared to them!

But I know hell never go for me so I shouldn't even waist my time.

I take one last look but this time he's coming to this way!
