chapter 8

I wake up to find rose shaking me.

"Wh..a.t!"

"Its time to get up,we got to get ready for the ball ,it starts in less than 4h."

We get up ,eat breakfast and about that time its already 3 and it starts at 5!

So we get are showers and get out are dresses.

We do our hair and makeup and slip into our dresses.

We both look gorgeous in our gowns.

I hear a knock and I open it to find xavier big eyed "you look gorgeous."

I just blush ,he looks handsome in his tux all dressed up.

Rose comes up behind us looking breathtaking.

"Are we ready?"

"Yes!"

And with that Xavier offers his arm, and I take it.

"Why thank you!"

we go down the hall and into the ballroom.it has over 1,000 people attending.

Rose goes off to find the drink table.

I look up at the ceiling admiring the detail and hard work that was put in to the ceiling with the Chandler's and paint.

A soft song plays and Xavier has me follow him to the dance floor.

Oh my gosh what am I doing I don't even know how to dance!what if I step on his foot or get caught on my dress and make a fool of myself!

We slow dance while the music plays softly.

"You dance lovely!"

"Why thank you I actually don't know how to dance so sorry if I'm not professional at it!"

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"I don't know how to dance either!"

"But your dancing right now?"

"Yeah, that's because Im just following everyone else!"

I start to laugh he is so cheesy ,but I love it.

The music finally ends and Xavier drags me to a balcony,and we stand and talk for like hours. It was nice evening with it being and then having a bit of a breeze and with a full moon out ,oh ...I just soak it up.

"layla...."

"Yes?..."

"I think I'm starting to fall in love with you!"

I look down and blush, does he really mean that!

He lifts my chin and kisses me like a never forgetful dream.
