TwitchyxMaid ~A Night at the Carnival

Twitchy groaned as he turned off his alarm to wake up and sat up in his bed. Although he was tired, he was also pretty excited. Today was the day that he was going to take a good friend of his, Maid, to the traveling carnival. The two hadn't been able to hang out lately, with Twitchy becoming the new rebel commander and having new duties to attend to.

Twitchy put on his FTGF sweatshirt, jeans, and black converse. He fixed his brown hair and put on his glasses. After grabbing a quick bite of something to eat, he left his dorm. He waved to the other High Command who were already awake and left the HCOM Quarters, heading for the cafeteria. Once getting there, he saw Maid waiting for him, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

"Let's get going, we don't want the traffic to be too bad." Twitchy called out to Maid as she walked over to him and they walked out past the front doors, Twitchy unlocking his car and opening the passenger door for Maid to get in.

After driving for a while, they arrived at the carnival. Twitchy parked his car on the side of the road and the two of them got out of the car, walking into the carnival.

"So, what do you want to do first?" Twitchy asked.

"Well I was thinking that we could lay some games first." Maid replied, pointing towards the games area. The two of them spent the rest of the day playing games and going on rides, laughing and just having an amazing time.

As the day was turning into night, Maid was getting more nervous. Today, she had planned to reveal to Twitchy that she had strong feelings for him. But, as their time together was coming to an end, she was losing motivation to go through with it. What would he say? How would he react? Well either way, she only had one more chance, as Twitchy called out "Let's go ride the Ferris Wheel!"

The two of them walked towards the long line and chatted about things while they got closer to the ride. Without even realizing it, the two of them had been holding hands the entire time they were in line. Maid felt a light blush appear on her cheeks as they boarded the Ferris wheel cart and finally separated.

After talking about nonsense for a while, Maid finally decided to speak up about her feelings. Whether he would accept them or not was the only thing holding her back.

"Hey. I just wanted to say thank you, you know, for everything. You're the closest person I know and I'm so glad that we met."

"Me too," Twitchy smiled as he gazed at the stars that now twinkled across the sky. "I couldn't ask for anything better. You really are my best friend." He sat silently for a second, pondering his next thoughts. "And, you know... although we didn't win anything at any of those games, spending this day, or really any time with you is better than any prize that I could ever win." Twitchy replied, the moon and stars sparkling in his eyes.

Maid began to open her mouth to speak, but before she could get a single word out, Twitchy began to gingerly kiss Maid gently on the lips. Her lips were quite soft as they rested against his. This moment felt so surreal. The two of them, at the top of the Ferris Wheel so close to the stars, fireworks amidst their blaze. They were almost as colorful and bright as the sparks that had always been ignited in his heart.

He had made a huge mistake. Finally realizing what he had done, Twitchy quickly pulled away from Maid and turned away from girl, his hands covering over his very heated face. He had messed up, really bad. What would Maid think of this? Twitchy couldn't concentrate on the flurry of thoughts and regrets piling into his mind.

Maid felt herself gush at the kind words murmured by Twitchy. However, the words were nothing to what came next. Before Maid knew what Twitchy was doing, the man in front of him leaned forward and pecked her on the lips. As soon as it happened, Twitchy was pulling back, clearly bashful about what he had just done.

"Twitchy.." Maid said, barely at a whisper. What was she supposed to say in a situation like this? No, words wouldn't do. Maid would just have to show him her response. Almost as if her body was moving on it's own, Maid took Twitchy's hands in her own and, unlike last time, didn't pull away. She then returned the favor, rejoining her lips to Twitchy's as she let one of her hands slip behind the other man's head.

Twitchy practically melted as he leaned closer towards Maid, deepening the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer and feeling Maid's breath on his face. Maybe one day he could come to term with his actions, but right now he just wanted to enjoy this amazing moment.

A happy hum resonated deep within Maid as she felt herself become surrounded by the warmth that was Twitchy's arms. She had no idea how many times they had gone up and down the Ferris Wheel when Maid finally broke the kiss, a full-on grin plastered on her face.

"Twitchy, I...I love you. I've been wanting to tell you since, well forever. I'd be nothing without you." Maid murmured, wrapping her arms around Twitchy and pulling him into a tight embrace.

"Maid, I love you too. I never expected that you felt the same way. It's feels so.... surreal. I love you Maid, you are my everything. You complete me. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course Twitchy!" Maid cried out as the two of them kissed again, their chemistry in full bloom. They continued riding the Ferris Wheel into the night, enjoying themselves now as a true couple.
