TessaxShanks ~Captain Underpants

Shanks looked at the clock and groaned. He invited his best friend Tessa over to spend the night at his house. She will be here in a few minutes -which feels like hours. Shanks got out of bed and checked his window. Nothing yet. He groaned and walked downstairs and opened the fridge for a snack. He pulled out a frozen corndog. "Mmm," he said to himself. Just then, the doorbell rang.

"Coming!" he shouted, putting the corndog back. He rushed to the front door and opened it. It's his best friend Tessa. She's in her pajamas and is holding her sleeping bag and her clothes for tomorrow. 

"Hi Shanks!" Tessa beamed.

"Hey Tessa! Let me carry your bag for you," Shanks said as Tessa gave him her bag.

"Thanks Shanks! You're sweet!" she said.

Shanks blushed slightly and closed the door, "No problem! Let's go upstairs!"

"Okay!"

Tessa followed Shanks upstairs to his room. They set everything against the wall next to the door. Shanks checked his shelf for any good movies. He then remembered that he left some of them in his mother's room the other day.

"Oh I left some movies in my mom's room. I'll go get them and you can choose one!" he said, grabbing his pajamas and rushing to his mother's room.

"Okay Shanks!" Tessa called out. She looked at his shelf and checked out what movies he has.

Shanks rushed into his mother's room and looked around. "Where did I leave them?" he asked himself. He looked on her bed and next to her T.V. Nope. Shanks decided that he should change while he's here. He took off his shirt and pants, leaving him in his underwear. Just then, he noticed a movie case under his mother's bed. He walked over and got on his knees and crouched under her bed. He found five movie cases under her bed.

"Ah, there they are," he said as he reaches for them.

Just then, Tessa walked in with a movie case.

"Hey Shanks, I found a good mo- Ahh!" she screamed.

Shanks quickly looked behind him, head under the bed, and bottom in the air.

"OH MAN!" he screamed, trying to cover his underwear with his hands.

"SO SORRY!" Tessa yelled as she ran back to his room.

Shanks quickly grabbed all of the movies from under the bed and put on his pajamas. He walked back to his room to see Tessa watching T.V. with her face bright red. He walked in and set the movies next to them. Tessa looked at him and blushed even more.

"Hey uh," Shanks started, "Sorry about what just happened."

"It's okay," Tessa giggled. "I shouldn't have walked in."

"I should've closed the door first."

Tessa picked up a movie case she had earlier.

"I wanted to say that I found a movie we could watch this one," she said, holding it up.

"Captain Underpants?"

"Yeah I've always wanted to see it!"

"Alright."

Shanks put the movie in the DVD player and turned the lights off. Thirty minutes into the movie, Tessa laid her head on Shanks' shoulder.

"I love you, Captain Underpants." she said.

Shanks put an arm around her. He's been waiting to hear those words since he met her.

"I love you too!" he said, holding her tightly.
