Javonte's POV

I walked out the front doors of the school after detention and went straight to my car. The sun blinded me as I squinted to be aware of where I was heading. I got in the car and started it right when Tory came out with Danny's hand on her waist.

I clenched my fists on the wheel and sped off away from her. I still cant believe she picked him over me. I know it sounds childish, but I knew her first! 

I was friends with her first!

I liked her first!

I fell in love with her first!!

Its not fair! I slammed the wheel repeatedly as I stopped at a red light. The lady to the right of me was sending me weird looks, but right now I didn't care. As the light turned green I slammed the gas pedal and sped off, not caring if there was any cops nearby.

I ended up at the back of a diner. I got out of the car and slammed the door shut. I put my hands on the hood of the car as I tried to calm myself down. I tried to get my mind off of her, but nothing worked. Slowly I became angrier and angrier by the minute.

I kicked the tires angrily ignoring the pain that struck my foot. A tear fell from my eye as I started punching the window. 

Once it was shattered to pieces I stood back and examined the damage. I cursed under my breath and shoved my bloody hands into my pockets and made it into the diner.

I headed straight for the bathroom and washed the blood out with soap. It hurt a little, but no as much as this knife that seems to be stuck in my heart.

I noticed my white pants had a bit of a stain on them but ignored it. I walked out of the bathroom and sat at the nearest table. I laid my head on the table as the girls at the back of me started laughing hysterically.

Tory's POV 

I started laughing with Chasity. We were having a good time. I felt overwhelmingly happy as we laughed and talked. When we calmed down I drank my orange juice..

"So", she suddenly said after an awkward moment of silence.

"So", I repeated.

"Remember when you said I could ask you whatever I wanted?", she said playing with her fingers. I smiled.

"Yea?", I said cautiously. She smiled back and looked me in the eye.

"Did you ever go out with Javonte?", she asked slowly and quickly added, "You don't h-"

"No its ok. And to answer your question, yes I did go out with Javonte", she blinked about 5 times as she processed this information.

"And you never told me!", she blurted out shocking me.

"I'm sorry?', I offered.

"You damn well be sorry", she said playfully.

That's when Jasmine and her thots came strolling in. I groaned as she headed towards me. Before she could even say anything I cut her off.

"You can have Javonte , I don't even like him like that", I said lying through my teeth. "I'm with Danny now, didn't you hear?", she stood quietly like she was trying to make sense of what I've said.

"Good", she said after a few seconds, "He's mine"

"I don't care", I said as I felt my own words rip my heart open, "He was the one begging me back", I laughed fakely. "He even said that he'll wait for me", I laughed even harder as Chasity and Jasmine looked at me weirdly. "Can you believe that! He's crazy if he think I'll go out with him", I wiped a tear that fell from my eye and sighed.
