Fear..Mistrust...Anger..Sadness.

I feel it all at once. Every single day. Every single night. No matter how good of a day it is it will never be good enough without my boy here. My son.

I still feel the betrayal as I did the day it happened. The werewolves of the Red Moon pack, the strongest pack in existence, once had an alliance with us, The Fairlyn Clan. Our alliance was strong ever since I became Master of this tribe over 300 years ago.

What caused the break in our alliance was a great rogue attack that tried to kill everyone in the Red Moon Pack, five years back. They called me for my clan's assistance because even they were outnumbered my the quantity of rogues. In battle, the Alpha's son along with a third of the pack members and half of the pack warriors died. The Alpha, Nicholas, thought that I turned my back on them.

During the time of the battle, I just found my son. Some of the people in my clan were sick from a deadly disease that started to spread a few years ago. All of the tribes and clans planned for Quarantine so that whoever has it can be treated and the disease will be terminated.

Last year Sofina and Ferram caught the disease and I immediately ran into town to get vaccines from the hospital. While walking towards the exit, a woman runs into my side. Before I can get a word out, she escapes the hospital. I turned to the right and my heart shattered. There was a tiny little baby sitting on a blanket in a bin next to the bed. I was in shock. This lady left her baby behind.

Before I can even process what just happened before my eyes, I walked into the hospital room and stood over the baby. When I say that my heart skipped about a thousand beats I am not kidding. The beautiful baby boy was swaddled in blanket. After staring for who knows how long, he opens his eyes revealing a magnificent shade of hazel. It was as if God wanted me to have a heart attack right then. And once our eyes locked, I didn't hesitate when taking the abandoned baby back to the castle with me. And at that moment we were inseparable.

Until they took him from me.

I haven't left really left the confines of the castle ever since his death. I just want to stay here in the isolated in darkness, confined in my own misery until either I die or the pain goes away. Both of which will never happen.

The only people I have been in contact with in the last year are my brother, Magnadel and my maid Sinclair, who has been with us for over 100 years. They tried to cheer me up countless amounts of times, but just recently they stopped, understanding that I was better off this way.

To sucked into my own thoughts, I don't even hear the door knocking. That is until I hear Magnadel open and step in. He is the only one who would ever get away with that.

"Rel, I'm making another trip to Arsenath to see if Relix has made any progress." He says.

We have an alliance with a neighboring tribe. Relix, the master warlock of the Erlinsh clan, knows the story of what happened to my son and has offered assistance from his clan of warlocks. His clan made up of most of Arsenath, consisting of many strong warlocks.

"You know you should really come with me, dear sister. You have been cooped up in this castle for too long." My brother says snapping me back into reality. I sigh.

"Not today, Del. Maybe next time." I groan slumping farther into my bed.

"You say that every time Sin and I try to get you outside. Being in here all day every day isn't healthy. Khalil wouldn't want you to be like this. And we all are trying to find the ones who did this. But it seems like we are doing more than you are and you are his mother!" He yells. I sat up and looked at the anger displayed on his face in shock. This was the first time Magnadel has snapped on me since I have trapped myself in here.

After a long staring battle between us, I see he isn't breaking so I sigh and get up. He sighs and smiles in triumph. I roll my eyes.

"I will be out in an hour." I say grabbing clothes and walking into the bathroom.
