Emma's POV
My annoying alarm is going off on my phone telling me to get my ass out of bed and go to school.
I got out of my warm, comfy bed and walked into my bathroom where I had a flowy mint top, jean shorts and black combats.
I got changed quickly and brushed my teeth and then did my hair, putting a mint green bow that matches my shirt in the back of my head. Then I put on my mascara on.
I was finally ready.
I grabbed my bags, phone and keys, ran downstairs and into my car and made my way to school.
-- At School --
Finally I get to hell... oops I meant school (not really).
So I don't really have like best friends. Surprisingly I'm actually friends with the most popular guy in school and his "posse". Oh by the way I'm in junior year and so are the "popular guys".
I walk to first period which is Science, really not one of my favorites and walk in the door. I was surprised to see Zach (popular guy) and his friends Mike and Liam (his posse). Usually I'm the first one here.
"Hey Emma" Zach said as I went towards them because I sit next to Zach in this class.
"Hey, what's up?" I said sitting up on the table cause I'm just cool like that.
"Nothing much" Liam said.
"Do you wanna chill at my house with us after school?" Mike asked.
"I have dance rehearsal last period and then I need to take a shower and stuff." I said.
"So you can meet us by the football field when your done" Zach said.
"Okay fine" I said.
"Gr-" Zach was interrupted by the bell.
I jumped off the table and sat in my chair.
-- Lunch --
I sat with the guys like I normally do everyday.
"Oh yeah Em did you hear the news?" Liam started.
"What news?" I said looking up from my phone.
"The cheerleading squad wants a girl from your dance classes to be on the squad" Zach said.
"Cool" I said continuing to look at my phone.
"You will make it for sure" Mike said.
"I don't know, I don't think I'll be good enough for the squad"
"Your the best dancer at this school!" Zach said a little louder then normal.
"Plus you will be able to cheer us on when we are playing" Liam said with a little smirk.
"Sure" I said.
Liam just rolled his eyes.
-- Last Period --
I got into my dance wear and put my hair up into a bun and went into the studio we had at school.
"Okay girls! The cheer squad is picking one of you to be on the squad. You will still be able to take dance class but you will have to take cheer practice too. Erica (cheer captain) you can take over from here." Our teacher said.
"So we chose who we think would be able to handle cheer squad and who is just the best match for cheer. And the girl we chose is..."
"Emma Carver!" Erica said.
