Chapter 1

3rd Person

Lachlan pushed open the school's front doors open and silently stepped inside. He arrived early most mornings to see his friends. He walked through the empty corridors towards their lockers. He saw them laughing and chatting, all 8 of them. (Including Rob)

Lachlan slowly approached them. Once they noticed that he was there they turned and snickered at him.

"Hey little lachy!"

They called out at him. He only smiled and waved. They closed in on him, Lachlan only stood there. That was his role in the game. Jerome was first, he pushed Lachlan back into the locker and punched him in the stomach. Lachlan was lucky they liked him, they didn't punch him hard enough to break, fracture or cause him to black out. They only punched him to feel pain, he was used to it though. He was the one to never fit in, but once Team Crafted came his worries were gone. They took him in, but Lachlan thought that being punched and kicked was part of everyone's daily life style. He'd never had real friends. They continued on, after Jerome came Mitch, then Adam and so on. But Rob only stood and watched. After their rounds they left. Lachlan trailing behind them.

Team Crafted was seen as the popular bad boys of the school. So no one messed with them. Lachlan was protected by them from his old bullies. They covered for him in classes, well so he thought. He felt included somehow for the first time in his life. He just misunderstood the meaning of friendship.

Lachlan's Pov

I sat down quietly on the edge of our table in the canteen. I picked at my food and watched the others talk about random stuff. Soon the hole group was here.

"So, where are we meeting tonight?"

Quentin smirked at me, I bowed my head down a bit. Jerome and Mitch laughed. Soon they were all laughing at me.

"I can't come tonight..."

I mumbled making everyone go quiet.

"Why? You come every other night f**" ( do ya want me to use swear words?)

I shook my head slightly and was about to get up but Ian grabbed my arm.

"Sit back down"

He hissed and I sat back down as I was told to do. They all crowed round me. By now the cafeteria was empty. A blow was delivered to my face and I winced but stayed still.

"Good lachy"

I heard a few of them snicker. They finished and we got up again. They moved down the corridors as a pack me trailing behind them. A few of the group separated off for different classes. I was in a class with Mitch and Ian. I sat between them and they kept poking and slapping me on the head. We finished the lesson and left. Mitch and Ian by my sides, the shoved me a bit but stopped as we reached the rest of the group.

~ Time Skip till end of school! ~

I put my books away and grabbed my bag. I turned to the others who were either talking or laughing. I slowly walked towards them and stood a metre or so away. Then I remembered mum wanted me help her with something. I turned around and walked away as quickly and silently as I could.

"Lachlan! Wait"

Someone shouted behind me, I skidded to a stop and turned around. They all were looking at me and I slowly walked towards them again.

"I have to help mum tonight"

I mumble while looking at the ground. I felt a fist collide with my head and I stumbled backwards. I quickly got back up and looked up at them, and smiled. A few of them burst out laughing at me. Ty quickly walked towards me and put his arm over my shoulder.

"Let's go"

He laughed and we all walked out of the school. We all took different cars and I was assigned to go into Mitch's car. He also had Ian and Quentin with him. I sat in the back with Ian who ignored me the hole car trip. Once we reached Adams my phone viabrated in my pocket, I pulled it out seeing a text from mum.

Mum: Where are you?

I quickly text back,

Me: Sorry, at a friends house. I'll try and get home as soon as possible

I slipped the phone back into my pocket and got out of the car. Adam's girlfriend Ashley was here too, they were having a very heated make out session. So the other let them selves into the house. Adam's mum greeted us and gave us some snacks. Adam finally came inside with Ashley hooked onto his arm. We headed up to Adam's room, most of the guys lept into his giant double king sized bed. I sat down on a beanbag and watched most of the time. They talked about random stuff while Adam and Ashley sucked each other's faces off. Another text came through on my phone from mum.

"Guys... I really have to go"

I stuttered while heading to the door. None of them really noticed so I just left. I said goodbye to Adam's mum and started walking home. My house was only 15 minutes from Adam's and I was greeted to the frantic barks of our black Labrador, Pudd. I gave him a big hug and went inside. Mum was standing in the kitchen holding a mop. She glared at me and I scurried to my room. I dumped my stuff on the floor and got together my homework stuff. I did homework for around an hour or so, until dinner was ready. Dad was home too, we ate in silence at the table. I finished and left without a word. Once I got to my room Pudd was already snoring at the end of my bed. I climbed in and let sleep overtake me.

Woah, this took me over 3 days to write.. I'm lazy :3 sorry guys I'm so lazy!! I'll try and get these done faster. Hope ya enjoy! BAI!!
