Chapter 4

Rob's Pov

I called out Lachlan's name not wanting him to be near that Preston guy. He hurried over to us and looked at us innocently. Mitch hit him on the head lightly as he arrived.

"We were thinking of going to the holiday house (TC House) tonight"

Adam announced to the rest of the group with Quentin and Ian behind him. The others nodded and I had nothing on tonight. Lachlan after a while agreed to come. I started heading off with Lachlan and Mitch to science. I put myself between the two, ignoring Lachlan and talking to Mitch so he didn't think anything funny. I wanted to talk to Lachlan more but I couldn't lose my reputation.

We finished class and started making my way to my car.

"Umm.. Rob?"

A voice called out behind me, I turned quickly and saw Lachlan with his cute blonde hair running towards me.

"Hey lachy, what's up?"

I smiled at him. He scratched his head

"Um. Would I be able to catch a ride with you to the house?"

He said then tilted his head a bit waiting for my answer.

"Sure, I have plenty of room in the car."

I grinned at him,

"Oh god thanks, I don't know what Adam would think if I didn't turn up."

He said blowing out a breath. I don't know what Adam would do if he didn't turn up. We headed out to my car and hoped in my little car, I tried to rev the car. Failing a little,

"Come on"

I whispered and kicked the machine hearing it turning on.

"Thank you!"

I yelled making Lachlan look at me weirdly.

"Old car, haha"

I said a bit embarrassed. We started the 45 minute trip to Adam's parents 'holiday house'. I put on the radio and started tapping the wheel to the tune. I looked at Lachlan who was just staring out the window. I started singing a bit to the tune a little and laughing at his reaction.

"Don't you sing?"

I asked laughing. He looked at me and smiled, a car beeped to our left.

"Hey, it's Preston!"

He laughed and waved at the passing car. I groaned inwardly and wanted to hit my head on the steering wheel. Lachlan had winded the window down and was talking to Preston, since we were in a red light. Lachlan told Preston what we were doing and stuff. I heard that Lachlan invited Preston to come

"Adam's house doesn't have enough rooms"

I interrupted them, while looking straight forward on the road.

"I could always sleep in Lachlan's room"

Preston yelled over to me, I felt anger boil inside me and I didn't respond and sped up once the green light flashed going ahead of Preston and hopefully he wouldn't follow us.

-Time Skip Of The Drive!-

I pulled into the driveway and hopped out of the car, Lachlan following in suite. I looked at the cars which were already here, there was only a grey and a sleek silver one. Meaning that Adam had arrived and so had Quentin and Ian.

"Hey!"

I called out seeing Ian getting out of his car, he waved and then Quentin got out. I pulled my bags out of the car and Lachlan grabbed his. We walked up to the house and I went upstairs to my room, Lachlan behind me. His room was next to mine so we walked together.

"See you later I guess?"

I smiled at him and went into my room. I put my stuff away and pulled out my swimmers. Since we were probably going later. I heard a car screeching outside and I peeked out my window. A big 4 wheel drive was parked in the driveway. Preston jumped out of the car and headed towards the door.

I sprinted down the stairs and towards the door and opened it quickly.

"Why are you here?"

I spat at him,

"Nice to see you too"

He said smartly and pushed through the door, I was too shocked to stop him and ran after him.

"Nice house"

He laughed while looking around.

"It's Adam's parent's beach house or something"

I said while trying to tug him out, Lachlan walked down the stairs and looked at Preston.

"You came!"

He said happily and ran down the rest of the stairs.

"Hey Lachlan"

Preston smiled,

"Do you think Adam will let him stay?"

Lachlan looked at me. Of cause Adam would let him, but I don't want him here.

"Sure you can stay!"

A voice yelled from the other side of the house, then Adam only with his swimmers on ran towards us.

"Hey man!"

Adam bro hugged Preston who grinned back at him.

"You can stay in someone else's room or crash on the couch"

Adam suggested, Preston nodded and winked at Lachlan who blushed deeply. I quickly grabbed Lachlan by the arm and walked up the stairs.

"We need to get our swimmers on"

I said annoyed and walked into my room, I put my swimmers on and waited for Lachlan to come out. He stumbled out and held his towel to his chest covering himself. I walked down the stairs, him following closely behind. The others were already at the pool and Jason, Ty, Jerome and Mitch had arrived. They were putting their stuff away. I went straight out to the pool seeing them all splashing around and stuff in Adam's giant pool.

I put my towel down, Lachlan slowly put his towel down next to mine uncovering himself. He quickly crossed his arms over his chest. I laughed at him and he looked at me embarrassed.

"Your so self conscious. You know we are all boys here."

I said cheekily and slapped him on the back and walked to the others.

Haha yay ! I'm at my friends sleep over and I've being quickly writing this without them knowing :) well since my house is an hour and half away from hers, I guess I can write more yay :D
