Chapter 2: Planning (Jurassic Craft)

I walk out to the terrace, scouting for the scientists. Haven't those idiots decided to find out who shot them down? Or tried to, anyway. Man, these scientists really are dumb. Then again, they left their helicopter out in the open where anyone, or anything for that matter, could get in. I'll use my sniper to scope out the area once more, just to be safe.

"I think... checking on them would be good. But, not in my human form. I have to go in my cow form... No. Vladimir. I need your soul!" I say. Vladimir is my pet bat. Well, it used to be. Now I am Vladimir! 

I walk outside and start flapping my wings. 

"Come on, wings! You can do it!"My wings start flapping furiously, but they won't let me fly. "Ugh, come on! How do I fly?! God Vladimir; did you not know how to fly?!" I jump off a small hill, but I still didn't fly. "OW!!" I yell.

~Morning Time~

Well, last night sucked. Vladimir is useless! He can't even fly, I think to myself. Or am I just not good enough to be a bat?! I go outside and start flapping my wings again. "I can do this!" I shout.

After some time, I start flying! "YES! FINALLY! I knew you weren't completely useless, Vladimir!" After saying that, I fall. "Ouch! Why life? What did I ever do to deserve this? Waaahh!" After whining for about ten minutes, I spot a skeleton out of the corner of my eye. He looks straight at me and fires his bow. "OUCH! I'm sorry! Leave me alone!" I shout. I jump into the lake nearby, but a horrible realization comes to me: BATS CAN'T SWIM!

"WAIT! BATS CAN'T SWIM! AHHH!"

I get out of the water, with some fish in my mouth. I was hungry, so might as well. I quietly eat my fish, feeling defeated. "Well," I say to myself. "I guess I don't have a choice anymore. I'm gonna have to fly their helicopter. But you know what? I'm actually not completely terrible at flying this thing!" I set up the helicopter, and jump in. "Hmm, ooh, what does this button do?" I press it, and the helicopter flies off the terrace. "Ahh! Oh. Wait, I'm not gonna die? I knew I had some skills! Somewhere! Waiting to be found... eh.." I got so caught up in my thoughts, I didn't even realize the helicopter was going backward.

"Wait, why am I going backward?!" I frantically press buttons, but to no avail. "AAH! I'M GONNA DIE! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE, AND I'M TOO HANDSOME!" I shout some more, but then I crash into a tree and lie unconscious.

I wake up, start thinking to myself about what happened, and made the decision to just go by land. Air sucks! I morph into CowFlo, and I see one of the scientists. He was walking about, heading into the forest. "Should I just get him out of the way? He's alone, his buddy isn't here with him..." I take out my sniper in my cow form, which was very hard seeing as I had hooves. I look into the sniper, but I can't see. "God dang it! Stupid cow eyes!"

I follow the scientist instead, all day long. I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I wanna sleep! But, I keep on moving. I lose the scientist, and I decide to stay the night in the village. I see a vacant house, with nobody in it. I try going through the door, but my cow butt gets stuck in the doorway. "Ugh! Can't it ever be easy just ONCE!?" I morph into myself, and I sleep on the floor in the house.

I wake up, and look over to the scientists' house. They walk outside, and I watch them. Should I just end it here? Ambush them? No, I have to be smart about this. Ambushing them won't be too easy, dumb or not. Think, Carlo! Think! Should I just talk to them? Pah! No! They would never stop their research! They're scientists! And besides, I have my stinger missile with me. They'll know I shot them down. I turn into CowFlo and walk out the door. I'll just walk up to them slowly, and they won't know I'm a weird cow! Yeah, that sounds good. But man, though.. I feel fat. 

I go over to the scientists' temporary house and stalk them from outside the window. The scientists come outside, right to where I was standing. Wait a minute! Too close! I'm just a regular cow! Nothing to see here! I was- AHHHH!!!!!  I start running away, but realize once I'm like twenty or so feet away that they didn't realize I was even there. Man, I feel stupid. Actually, they are the stupid ones! They didn't see a 2,400 pound cow run away from them?! They really are stupid! I see something from the distance I'm at, and I move closer. 

"Wait a minute.. It can't be.. Maybe.. they really aren't dumb. They found ancient tablets! I couldn't even find those. ..Does that make me dumb?" Ugh, I need to do something about this... I have my stinger missile with me.. Maybe I could just.. Just... 

I pull out my stinger missile, which my hooves don't help with. I aim at them, but I just can't pull the trigger. "C' mon! Be a man! Just pull the trigger and all of this will be done and over with! ...I... I can't. I'm too close. If I pull the trigger, then I'd just end up killing myself. I need to be at a distance.." Maybe if I get them to kill themselves... No! That's stupid! I'm stupid! Ugh!! I can't think of anything! Wait a minute, where did they go?! Why am I so stupid! I need to figure out their plans! 

I find them in a cave, a little ways from the village. What are they doing down there? I think to myself. Wait! Now's my chance! I can go see what they've discovered so far! And maybe take it so they can't do any more research on these dinosaurs and they'll leave! Yes, that sounds good.

I find their place and morph into my beautiful self again. As soon as I walk into their house, I see one bed. "Wow.. Um, that's weird. Are they gay?" (No hate, I support everyone and their preferences.) 

I look in a couple of chests, but see nothing. The last chest I open, though... "Dinosaur DNA! Perfect! I'll take these, and they won't get to research on these anymore! Maybe they'll leave this little island alone! They don't need to discover the secrets of this place..." I pause. I said that too loud. I look around, but no one is there. "Phew. Anyway, what kind of DNA did they find? Let's see... Hmm.. Ooh! Dilophosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Deinonychus! How dare they take these! I'm just gonna have to take them back." I take the DNA and shove it into my inventory. I leave,  thinking of a nasty plan.

I go back to base, look in my chests, and find some traps. I look in other chests and find my Ancient Helmet, and my Ancient Sword. I take them, giddy with excitement. I haven't used these in a while! I also find some zombie eggs, and an iron door. I take them, get on my dirt bike,  and execute my plan.

My dirt bike is a little shaky, but that's because of my stupidity and not keeping it well maintained. "Agh, forget this! Stupid bike!" The bike starts going back and forth and stops abruptly. "..Weird bike." I head over to the village on foot, and I still find them gone. I look around, and see their house and the ancient tablets. "God, should I take these? No, that'll be too obvious." I go inside and find that still, they're not home. I took a sign with me, and I place it down. "I should write something scary.. Hmm.. Ooh! I got it."

Sign: I'll... be... watching your every move...

"I think that sounds scary enough! Now to set up the zombies." I place them down, and they start attacking me! "Ah! No! You're supposed to attack them, not me!" After some time, I lay unconscious. 

I wake up. "Ouch.. Well, that backfired. Those zombies don't listen to me..." I find one of the zombies wandering about. "Hey! Get back in there," I say. The zombie hits me, but I still run into the house. I lock the door, and I realize I'm trapped with the zombie. "I guess I have to take this one more time. Bye World!" The zombie hits me, but I teleport. I still lay unconscious again, but this time I wake up sooner.

"God, those zombies hit hard." I'm outside of their house, when all of a sudden, I get thrown into the air. "AHHH!" I fall, but I don't feel anything."Wait, I'm okay?" After a couple of seconds, my legs start hurting. "Owie!"

"Ugh, now I have to walk back to base. It's night time and I can barely see! Might as well take this stupid bike back. I need to fix it. It's awful!" I get on the bike, and I ride home. The ride is a little faster, but that's about it. It's not bugging out like it was before. I get back home, but I sense something is off. I feel another presence.. This might be bad...
