It was about noon when you arrived at your Dance class. You didn’t really enjoy dancing but It was something to do and people said you were good at it, so why not? You set your bag on your lap as you sat in one of the chairs in the corner, you pulled out your phone as you notice something in your bag that you had completely forgot about. A bracelet that someone had left behind last week. Well the guy who left it behind wasn’t just a someone.

The person who left the bracelet was one of the best dancers in the whole class, if not the best. You scanned the room, there weren’t many people here, but then again it was still pretty early. Just as you look down at the bracelet again the door to the huge room opened. David Scarzone walked through the door with his bag hanging over his shoulder. He saw that you were looking over at him and smiled at you. You smiled back but then looked back down quickly, your cheeks becoming rosy.

You had a crush on David. You guys had only talked a hand full of time, and even then the words you exchanged were just small talk. He was the best dancer in the class and you like him, it just couldn’t be helped.

David walked over to his usual spot by the mirrors, saying ‘Hello’ to everyone he seemed to pass, just because he was sweet like that. You weren’t the only girl who had liked David. To your knowledge, almost every girl in the class liked David at least a little.

A sigh escaped your lips as you set your bag on the ground. You tighten your grip on the leathery material as you stood up. You steps were small, but you seemed to be in front of David in no time. You were about to say something but then David beat you to it. “Hey, (Y/N).” He smiled brightly at you and you could feel your face flush red.

“Oh, uh, Hey, David.” I looked down avoiding eye contact. The boy then stood up, he was a bit taller than you but you didn’t have to strain yourself looking him in the eye. “Last week you left this.” You held out the bracelet, trying to avoid eye contact.

“Thank you! I’ve been looking for this.” He grabbed the bracelet from out of your hand, putting it on. “Thank you so much.” He laughed a bit, adjusting the bracelet.

“It’s no problem.” You smile, still not looking up at him.

“Why don’t you come to lunch with me and my friends after this?” David asked, he was still smiling. He had a cute smile. “I mean I have to thank you in some way, right?” He laughed slightly.

You looked up, you couldn’t help but smile. “S-sure. I’d love to.”

“I’ll meet you outside after practice then, (Y/N).”

You nodded as you moved back to my little seat in the corner.

Dance class just got a lot better.
