"AHHHHH! FLUFFY, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!"

Marik ran out of his room, terrified. His flatmate, however, was tired, grumpy, and really effing sick of this.

"Marik Ishtar, I swear to Ra..." Bakura mumbled under his breath as he went searching for the blond Egyptian. His search eventually lead him to the dinner table, where Marik had wrapped himself in silver foil and hid under the table.

"Fluffy! Psst! Fluffy, down here!" Marik whisper-shouted. "Hurry, quick! Before they find us!"

Bakura rolled his eyes. "What's going to find us, Marik?" he asked. Marik had been doing this for the past few days, and Bakura was tired.

Marik's eyes darted around frantically. "The animatronics," he whispered fearfully.

Bakura groaned. "Seriously, Marik?? You woke me up at five AM for a bloody computer game?!?" Bakura shouted in disbelief. "A computer game?? You're frigging kidding me."

"That's only what they want you to think, Bakura! But it's no joke," Marik said, crawling out from under the table. "They're gonna come for us. I just know it."

Marik stood in the light, shivering as he imagined being trapped in that damned pizzeria; all alone and in the dark, monstrous beings lying in wait .

Bakura stared at Marik; the boy seemed lost in thought. "Marik," he said, wrapping an arm around the shivering boy. "The animatronics won't get their claws on you," he said, hugging him.

"H-how do you know?" Marik asked, curiosity and fear in his eyes.
"Because," Bakura smiled warmly, something only Marik had the honor of seeing. "They're gonna have to get through me first."

Next thing he knew, he was back in bed, this time with Bakura holding him.

Marik smiled, snuggling closer to Bakura's side. "I hate you, 'Kura."

Bakura gently kissed Marik's head. "I hate you too, Marik."

I'll protect you, always and forever.

Based off of something that happened to me IRL. Give or take a few things. My friend stayed up all night playing FNAF, despite my warnings. He didn't leave his room for days. I was like, "Whelp, I told you."
