Today was like any other. I woke up in the morning at 5. I went to have breakfast with Dad at the diner like all ways before I went to Momma's grave.

"Lilah," said Dad "you need to stop going to the cemetery everyday. There might be a day where you won't be able to anymore. What are you going to do when you get a mate, Hun, you will have to move to where he lives."

I laughed. "Daddy, the poor boy won't know what hit him when he tries to make me move away from here."

He smiled, but still had a concerned glaze over his eyes.

After we finished our breakfast, I gave Dad a kiss on the cheek, gave him a hug, and told him I loved him. I then walked out. As I was walking to Momma's grave I waved to everyone I passed.

We lived in such a small town that everyone knew everyone.

"Good morning, Lilah." said Father Mike, our priest. The priest was a tall man in his late 50s. He had dark brown hair that started to get grey on the sides. He had a strong jaw line and long eyelashes. Also, you could see laugh lines on his face, which gave you the impression he was a very funny, easy going guy and he was.

"Good morning, Father."

"I was wondering if you could come in to talk to the youngsters tomorrow?"

"Sure, I would love to!" I said honored he asked.

He smiled. "I don't know how you do it, Lilah, you never cease to amaze me. Well, I have got to go. I will see you tomorrow."

"Good bye, Father." I giggled.

I started walking again, still waving to people. As I passed my house I quickly picked a flower and once again set off to the cemetery.

I walked through the front gates and walked on the curvy path. Then stopped.

Here lays Delilah Blake, A beautiful women who cared for every one,

A loving Wife, Sister, Friend, Daughter, and Mother.

I put the flower right beside the grave along with all the other flowers.

"I miss you, Momma, and I love you." I whispered as I kissed my fingers and then placed them on the grave.

I then walked out to do my daily chores on the farm and to wake up my brother to help me.

"My back hurts, my back hurts, my back hurts, my back hurts." whined Dustin as I rolled my eyes. It was his fault for getting the horse so upset that it kicked him.

"Maybe you learned your lesson for being so careless when handling the horses." I sang. He stuck his tongue out at me just as the donkey, that was right next to him, sneezed and got it all over his face.

His face was full of pure shock and disgust. I laughed so hard that fell into the mud and after that Dustin started laughing as well.

"Go wash your mouth." I said trying to stop laughing but it was impossible.

Once he went into the house I stopped and went over to the donkey.

"Good job, Boy, good job." I praised.

"I swear, Lilah, if you are praising that damn donkey, you are gonna get it!" yelled Dustin while running towards me.

I started running as fast as I could, but my converse arn't really good running shoes. I was laughing as we ran up the road.

"You are sooo going to get it, Lilah!" he yelled but I could hear the smile in his voice.

I then was tackled and saw Dustin was sitting on me.

"Say you're sorry." he said threatening but smiling.

"Never!"

He raised an eyebrow and said in a matter-of-fact tone of voice "Have it your way." Then he started tickling me.

I laughed so hard, I could barely breathe.

"Okay, okay!! I'm.......sorry!........ I'm sorry." I said trying to catch my breath.

"You better be" he muttered as he pulled me up.

We started to walk back, but then we heard a slight roar of a car. I turned around and saw a big, black, shiny limo heading to Guilford.

Probably some city folks who took a wrong turn. No one comes down here, none the less with a limo. Even the people here don't have cars. The town is so small that everyone walks places. I thought.

The limo passed us as I looked to Dustin who shrugged.

"Hey," he said "Do you mind if I run back to the house in wolf form. I just remembered I left the stove on."

"Sure."

He then ran into the woods disappearing. I started walking on the road again and noticed the limo stopped and pulled over on the side of the road.

A driver got out. He was wearing a very fancy suit with a bow tie and a hat. He quickly ran to the other side to open the door.

When the person got out, I could tell it was a man. He was also wearing a suit.

He then turned to me. I jogged over. The man only looked a few years older then me. I could tell he was very muscular. He was very tall and tan, but what amazed me the most about him is that he had bright green eyes.

"Hiya, Sir! Is there anythin I can help you with?" I asked with my southern drawl coming out.

"My name is Nick Grey." he said as though it was supposed to mean something.

"Ooooookay. Nice ta meet ya. Is there anythin you need?." I asked again.

"You don't know who I am?" he said furiously.

"Am I supposed to?"

He then grabbed my upper arm and his eyes flashed. I realized he was a werewolf and a powerful one at that.

"What are you doing!!! Get off me!!" I screamed trying to get him to let go. I then slapped him, hard. I heard the driver gasp. Nick bent down and whispered angrily "You are going to regret that, Love. Where do you live and what is your name."

His grip on my upper arm tightened as tears came to my eyes.

"I live down the road with my father and brother and my name is Lilah Blake." I said my voice cracking a little bit.

His eyes narrowed and started dragging me to the limo.

"Kyle!" Nick called.

"Yes, Sir?"

"Drive us to Ms. Lilah's house. We need to have a talk with her father about respect, werewolf education, and the fact that when we leave today she is coming with us, for she is my mate."

My eyes widened in horror.
