Leap of 3 days
Akshara was sitting at lake side in hope Naira and Karna will come. She was missing Naira and Karna. She didn't know why but she wanted to see them.
Yes Tara and Naksh were here but they didn't give her that peace which Naira and Karna gave her in just one day.
They didn't meet her since 3 days and her life seemed useless.
Suddenly she heard a voice.
"DADI!!!" Karna came running.
"Karna." Akshara picked him in her arms.
"Mumma kahan hai?" Akshara asked.
"Woh rahi Mumma." Karna looked behind.
Naira came there.
"Ciao." Naira greeted. Naira wanted to take Akshara's blessings but stopped herself.
"Why you didn't turn up in these 3 days. I was waiting for you." Akshara asked.
"Actually Karna wanted to go to for a picnic so we went to Rome for a small trip. I'm sorry I wasn't able to inform." Naira apologised.
"It's okay. Sit." Akshara signalled.
Anjali came there running and started playing with Karna.
"What happened?" Naira asked.
"Nothing. Just feeling nostalgic." Akshara lied.
"You can share with me. I'll not tell anyone." Naira assured her.
"I don't know why but I feel connected to Karna. I don't know the reason but I feel I know him since his birth. I don't know why it's happening. I never felt the same with my daughter in law Tara and my son Naksh. But I felt different when you are around. I feel myself at peace. I always got positive vibes from you. This feeling I never got from Naksh and Tara. Why? I don't know." Akshara confessed.
"It's simple. You love them but they don't love you." Naira smiled.
Akshara was silent.
"Yes they don't love you. Because if you felt that they love you....you wouldn't be having this feeling. The person who loves us na that love in his/her eyes. Look in their eyes and try to find love for you and your family. Eyes can speak volumes." Naira smiled looking at Akshara.
"Your eyes too have something else for me. What's that?" Akshara asked.
"What you see?" Naira asked.
"Love and respect." Akshara spoke.
"That's natural." Naira looked away.
"Why love?" Akshara asked.
"Who will not love a mother in law like you!!" Naira murmured.
"Did you say something?" Akshara asked.
"No Nothing." Naira covered up.
"Coffee?" Naira asked.
"Sure." Akshara agreed.
Naira went and brought 2 coffees. She gave one to Akshara.
"So did you meet your son again?" Naira asked.
"No! I disowned him very earlier. It has been 19 years." Akshara revealed.
"What if something happened with him? Did you think once? How will he live? How will he earn at that age? Your anger took over your love. Did you ask your heart once if he can do wrong? You snatched his family from him. His father,his sister....his family just in a second. Did you try to investigate further who actually killed your father in law?" Naira raised questions.
Akshara had no answer for those questions. She was silent.
"Whatever we see isn't always true. What we hear isn't always true. Listen to your heart. But it's of no use now. You have lost the battle of motherhood. You chose your worst son over your best son. You chose the son who hates you over that son who always loved you. According to your Naksh you are the worst mother. For him you are a way of money. You will not trust me now but soon the day will come when they will break your trust in million pieces like you broke that of KARTIK." Naira stood up.
Naira took Karna with her and left. She decided to not meet Akshara till she realised her mistakes.
