Jimin shyly looked up from the tables to see Yoongi, Taehyung, Namjoon, and Jungkook look staring at him. 'So Jimin, were you born deaf, or did you develop it over time?' Namjoon signed curiously. Jimin's eyes immediately welled up with tears. 'That is a very sensitive topic that I'm not comfortable talking about.' Jimin signed. Namjoon nodded feeling guilty.
Jimin sat there for a while deep in thought when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked up in confusion, and saw Jungkook standing over him pointing at his watch signaling that lunch was over.
As they were leaving, Jimin felt the urge to pee. He shyly glanced up and tugged on Jungkook's sleeve. When Jungkook looked down, Jimin signed that he needed to use the restroom. 'Hurry back ok?' Jungkook signed.
Jimin walked to the restroom that was quite far away, but little did he know a group of three girls were following close behind him. Just as Jimin was going to walk past the lockers, he felt a harsh push that sent him flying into the lockers.
Jimin looked up to see three girls glaring at him. They started saying something, but their lips were moving too fast for him to read. Once they realized he wasn't responding, they started to kick and punch him. Jimin lied there sobbing.
The girls all of a sudden stopped all of a sudden. Jimin sighed in relief. He looked up to see a girl glaring and yelling at them. She had hair a little longer than shoulder length. It was brown with blonde highlight that looked ombré. He could she wasn't Korean.
She looked up and started saying something. She realized his lack of response. 'are you deaf?' she signed. Jimin nodded his head feeling happy that she knew sign language. 'my name is Jayvalyn and I am an exchange student from the U.S.' She signed introducing herself. 'My name is Jimin, I am a new student here at Big Hit. Thank you for rescuing me.' Jimin signed.
'No problem, if you ever need a hand I'll be here to help.' Jayvalyn signed whilst smiling. Jimin smiled brightly at Jayvalyn. ~I think I finally have a friend. ~ Jimin thought. who's supposed to be your guide?' She signed. 'Jeon Jungkook was guiding me, but I needed to use the restroom.' Jimin signed in response. 'Why didn't he come with you?' Jayvalyn signed accusingly. 'I told him that I would be able to use the restroom without him.' Jimin signed feeling guilty. 'He still shouldn't have let you go alone. Come on Jimin, I have to give him a piece of my mind.' Jayvalyn signed angrily. 'Please don't, it's my fault not his.' Jimin pleaded. Jayvalyn sighed, 'Jimin you're way to forgiving.' Jimin hugged her tightly in thanks. 'Aww you are too cute.' Jayvalyn signed
