To "See" You All

Chapter One

The night was dark and the sky was clear. Only the full moon provided a small amount of light. Not a single star was on the sky. A young boy ran down a pathway. He had pale skin, dark hair, and eyes. This boy was Sasuke Uchiha who is aspiring to be a great ninja like his brother. He was born on July 23rd.

'Mom is gonna kill me. It's past 8 I'm sure.' Sasuke thought in dismay. 'Wait, till Aniki sees my new move! He's supposed to be back.' And with that thought, he ran faster. When he arrived at the Compound it was eerie and quiet.

Too quiet.

The lights were off.

Sasuke hesitated at the entrance and turned around sensing someone watching him but no one was there.

He ran in and stopped as the scent of blood assaulted his senses. Blood was everywhere. On the ground and the walls. He continued to run and saw the bodies of his clan. "Auntie?" He cried out seeing the body of the elderly woman who had encouraged him many times. She had wished him good luck for the academy just this morning.

Horror raced through Sasuke as he continued running through the area. The Uchiha Clan was also the police force of Konoha and every Uchiha had been moved to a section of the village where they were isolated. Many civilians have named it 'Uchiha Village' not that the other clans didn't have Compounds for their members. But the Uchiha one wasn't near other houses like the Nara Compound. There was a wall to close it off from strangers.

Sasuke found mores bodies ranging from shinobi to elder Uchiha along the way to the largest house. That was his house and he was in the largest since his father Fugaku was the head of the Uchiha Clan. Sasuke ran there hoping his parents were fine. "Mom! Dad!" He yelled into the house as he ran in only stopping to take off his shoes. "Mom?! Dad?!" Sasuke yelled again as anxiety began to fill him. Hearing a crash he ran to where he heard it and pulled the door open. There he saw two bodies lying motionless on the ground.

"No..." he whispered as he walked over and kneeled beside the bodies of his parents. "No...no.....nonono...." He mumbled as he shook his head in disbelief and began to hyperventilate. "NO...NO...NO...NO!NO! MOM! DAD!" Sasuke yelled as tears filled his eyes as he tried in vain to shake them awake avoiding the blood.

Sasuke stood up abruptly and walked away from his parents' corpses as he realized he wasn't alone. Out of the shadows now visible to Sasuke was his brother Itachi. "Nii-san?" Sasuke asked as relief filled him seeing his brother. Surely, his brother who was the clan's prodigy and strongest shinobi would know what to do and what happened.

"What happened?" Sasuke asked as he squeezed his eyes shut. "I came back and everyone...Who could have done this?!" His words were stopped as a sharp pain on his shoulder registered to his brain. Snapping his eyes open he grabbed the area he got cut which had begun to bleed.

"Foolish Otōto," Itachi said as he stepped forward his face neutral but Sharingan active. It was then that Sasuke saw the bloody sword in his brother's hand and how Itachi stepped over their parents not looking back.

"W-What?" Was all Sasuke could utter in his stunned state.

"I killed them. Every Uchiha." Itachi said as if it was an everyday thing.

"Why?!" Sasuke yelled. He knew he had to run and get help but in shock and fear, he was frozen.

"To test my strength of course," Itachi said. He looked at Sasuke who only stared in disbelief. "Don't believe me? I'll show you." And with those words, his Sharingan changed its shape.

"Where am I?" Sasuke asked his voice echoing. The sky was red and there was a red moon casting a red light throughout the area with a cloudy atmosphere, giving the background a blood-red appearance with inverted grey-black shading. He heard a scream and as he turned around he saw his aunt get killed "NO!" he yelled as he saw shinobi from his clan try to fight only to fail. Sasuke screamed as he saw Itachi kill the clan over and over.

"NO! DON'T HURT MOM AND DAD!!!" Sasuke screamed once again his voice growing hoarse due to all his shouting. He screamed again as he saw Itachi kill his parents for the third time.

"STOP IT!!!!!" Sasuke yelled as he grabbed his head. To his relief, the illusion faded and he collapsed on the ground in exhaustion. "What was that?" he mumbled.

"That foolish brother was Tsukuyomi a technique of the Mangekyō Sharingan which one can only obtain after killing someone dear to them," Itachi said as he walked over to Sasuke.

Sasuke groaned as he got up. "I don't-won't accept what you're saying!" Sasuke yelled as he got up and ran out of the house.

"Where do you think you are going?" Itachi asked as he appeared in front of Sasuke. "You're pathetic. Not even worth killing." He sneered as he threw a punch to Sasuke landing the hit on his stomach.

Sasuke stumbled back looking at Itachi in fear. "Who are you? You're not Itachi! I won't believe it! Itachi wouldn't hurt me! Nii-san loves me!" Sasuke yelled as he grabbed a kunai from the ground. He tried not to think about who it may have belonged to.

"Don't be a fool. That was all an act. I never loved you." Itachi said. "If you were smart you'd have gone for help not come inside. You're weak. Who knows? Maybe if you went for help some Uchiha may have survived." Itachi said with a scoff.

Sasuke was frozen to the spot. 'It's my fault they all died?' Sasuke shook his head. "THEN JUST KILL ME ALREADY!!!" He yelled.

Itachi only looked at him and although Sasuke just wanted to fall down Itachi's stare kept him standing. "Heh. You're not even worth killing little brother. Tell you what." Itachi said as his Sharingan stared into Sasuke. "Hate me. Despise me. Use you're hate to get stronger and then one day when you have eyes like mine." Here Itachi shifted his Sharingan to the Mangekyō Sharingan. "Come find me." And with that Itachi turned away from Sasuke.

Sasuke collapsed on his knees breathing hard before passing out not seeing that his Sharingan activated and was flickering. Nor the tears that went down Itachi's face seconds before he turned. Just before passing out Sasuke blamed himself for the death of his parents and the loss of his brother. Even if it was an act he still loved Itachi.

Sasuke had activated his Bloodline Limit the Sharingan but it began to flicker between the original and a Mangekyō form causing Sasuke's eyes to bleed. ANBU came to the Uchiha Compound just moments after Sasuke passed out some chased after Itachi only to fail and return. Others stayed hoping to find survivors.

Just as they were about to quit a scream was heard. They rushed to the spot where they saw Sasuke holding his eyes and screaming. After subduing Sasuke they took him to the hospital. "What do you think happened?" An ANBU with a hawk mask asked. "His eyes were bleeding but he was already unconscious when the screaming began."

"Can't say I know Hawk. But are you sure Itachi did this? It's hard to believe." Another ANBU with a Dog mask said.

"Positive. He knocked out the guard by the gate who before passing out saw him covered in blood." Hawk said as they saw from the tree outside the hospital Sasuke being wheeled into ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

"Guess we have to wait for that Uchiha to be conscious for a definite answer." Dog said with a sigh. "Poor kid. What did he see and what did his brother do to him?" He mumbled.

"Brother?" Hawk couldn't help but question his superior. Dog looked up unaware he spoke out loud and spoke.

"Yea, Itachi was the son of the Uchiha Clan Head Fugaku. That boy in the hospital is his younger brother." Dog said. "Well, let's go we have to report back to the Hokage." And with that, the two ANBU leaped away.
