Sasuke was walking and humming a tune. "Hey, chibi? Do you know what song you will be singing?" Shisui asked.
"Nope!" Sasuke said with a smile as he continued to follow Hina.
"Don't you think.... you should, I don't know... think about it?" Shisui asked with a sweat drop.
"But I've never heard a single song in my entire short life!" Sasuke said with a pout as he turned to Shisui.
"What?! How can that be?" Shisui exclaimed.
Surely, Sasuke heard at least one song?
"Uh, the unspoken rule of no music in the Compound?" Sasuke said.
Unless there was a restriction.
"Oh, right," Shisui said with a nervous chuckle. Now that he thought of it... He heard music because he was undercover at a bar...
"Next town I'll ask," Sasuke said with a shrug as he looked ahead.
"Well, then you're in luck, I see one right now!" Shisui exclaimed.
"Good! I was getting hungry!" Sasuke said as he sighed in relief as he made his way into the tiny tea house. "Hello! Two onigiri balls please!" He asked when an elderly lady came who had soft wrinkles around her eyes and brown hair.
"Oh, where are your parents? Are you lost?" She asked softly as she looked around.
"No, Hina is guiding me," Sasuke said as he pointed at the cat causing the lady to look down.
"Oh, is she now?" The lady asked with a smile.
"Meow!" Hina mewed as she jumped and landed in Sasuke's lap.
"Well, I'll be right back with your food." The lady asked but before she could leave Sasuke called out to her.
"Do you know any songs about the moon?" He asked hopefully.
"The moon?" The lady asked as she looked at the boy. She smiled as she saw his bright eyes. "There was a lullaby my mom used to sing to me. Do you perhaps want to know it?" She asked.
"Yes, please!" Sasuke chirped as he sat up straighter.
"Just give me a moment dear." The lady said as she patted his head softly before turning to go into the kitchen.
"Ne, Sasuke." Shisui began as he floated down and sat in the seat across from Sasuke. "Be careful. There are a group of men watching you." He said as Sasuke turned to him.
"Or rather your crest." Fugaku continued as he glared. "They know you're an Uchiha." He hissed.
Although they were not expecting it Sasuke took the information in calmly. "They're gonna be after me now huh?" He muttered with a frown. It didn't last long though as the lady came back.
"Here it is dear." She said as she placed a tray in front of him. She then handed Sasuke a piece of paper. "Now this song is precious. I hope you treasure it as well." She said with a soft smile. Sasuke glanced up at her and smiled sensing that this song held many important memories for her.
"I will!" Sasuke promised as he gently folded the paper and tucked it into his pocket. He then reached for his food and took a bite. "Mmm! It's good!" He said as he turned to the lady.
"How sweet." The lady said as she went to ruffle his hair. Sasuke only squirmed a little unused to so much attention and physical interaction. When Sasuke finished his food and paid the lady walked him out of the shop. "Are you sure you'll be fine?" She asked looking worried.
"I'm sure, thank you!" Sasuke said as he sent her a reassuring smile. He then made his way down the road as Hina continued prancing ahead of him.
"Stay safe!" The lady called one last time before she went back into her shop.
