Chapter Ten

The purple sword glowed causing Sasuke to look down at it. "Take the sword, it is yours. You have changed not only its shape, but also its form." The spirit said.

"Agh!" Sasuke shouted as the sword glowed and seemed to be burning his hand.

"Do not resist, but this is a first. The sword is linked to you like a curse." The voice said again. This only caused more panic for the Uchiha spirits.

"A CURSE?! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BABY?!?!" Mikoto shouted enraged that her baby was in pain and she couldn't do a damn thing!

"Be at ease mother of child." The voice commanded. Of course, that wasn't the best thing to say to a mother who is in a panic.

"I WILL WHEN YOU MAKE SENSE AND NOT TRY TO MAKE EVERYTHING RHYME!!!!" Mikoto shouted as flames surrounded her ghostly form and made it seem like she was alive.

"Fine. The sword is like a tattoo. Sasuke show them." The voice said cowering. Sasuke who was panting was confused seeing that the sword seemingly disappeared. He rolled up his sleeve and right on his wrist was a tattoo of his sword. Smaller obviously but the detail in it showed a perfect image of the sword. "He can summon the sword just by channeling chakra to the seal." The voice said.

"Cool! Try it chibi!" Shisui yelled excited. His eyes were shining with glee.

"It's smaller," Sasuke said when he summoned the sword. It was true, the large sword that Sasuke struggled to hold was smaller and Sasuke found he could move it more easily.

"It changes size and weight as you grow so it always suits you." The voice explained as Sasuke slashed the air.

"That is awesome. How do you put it away?" Shisui asked as he floated over to see the sword.

"Just will it to disappear." The voice answered. Sasuke looked at his sword and poof! It went away like a summon.

"That is neat but answer my question please?" Sasuke asked. They've been putting it off for a while now. And he really wanted answers.

"Of course." The voice said. "As I said before it's due to your eyes."

"My eyes?" Sasuke asked tilting his head. He reached up with a hand to touch them.

"It will be hard and it will hurt but activate the Sharingan." The voice said.

"I don't have it though," Sasuke said with a frown.

"Ah, but you do. You just do not remember activating it." The voice said young back to his mysterious vibe. With a shrug, Sasuke complied and there was a burning sensation. Yet when he opened his eyes everything seemed sharper.

"See his eyes? A mix indeed." The voice said sounding pleased. "The pattern of a flower and tomoe of three." Soon the voice told Sasuke to go to a nearby spring of water.

"That's not like the regular Sharingan," Sasuke said as he looked at himself. The pattern... Itachi had a different pattern in his Sharingan as well.

"No, it is not," Fugaku said as he looked at his son.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan has been somewhat activated. You will not have the side effect of blindness or any special ability." The voice explained.

"So I won't have the ability to do what Itachi did right? That... Tsukuyomi." Sasuke said with a shiver. He frowned though when he heard the side effect of a normal Mangekyō Sharingan is blindness. 'Nii-san will go blind.' he thought with horror and sadness.

"Indeed, but I will say that your Sharingan can cast genjutsu and has the ability to distinguish chakra." The voice said. All the Uchiha wanted to roll their eyes. That is what the Sharingan does after all.
