was a bit different.

my vision was tilted sideways, i felt like i was walking on the walls.

seeing the brown leaves scattered on the ground, softly crackling underneath my boots, i dragged myself across the road, teeth jittering in the bitter cold. i was already wearing a scarf made of cotton around my neck, yet i still felt pretty cold. the cold bit into my skin too much that i eventually felt like i was walking upside down.

trotting. continuous trotting as my head continued to spin, the world went on and didn't hesitate to keep going despite the evident suffering in my eyes and the monster-like breeze that blew and bit the tenderness of my skin. i needed to go home. i need to go now.

despite everything, i finally saw the dusty brick building that contained my apartment, as i took out my last couple of cold and shivery breaths. gasping as i entered the building, i was greeted with warmth, as my nose was filled with icy flakes and so were my lashes.

i rushed up to my apartment so that no one would see me, it was early in the morning and the last thing i would want to experience right now is any kind of human interaction. i took out the keys out of my coat's pocket, quickly unlocking it before any laser filled eyes managed to lay on my form.

closing the door shut, i was greeted by a state of comfort. i finally managed to breathe a little bit better, and my vision was back to the ground. i gently brushed off the flakes on my face and slid off the bag that hung sloppily around my shoulder.

what an absolute mess. how exhausting.

i dived too much into the warmth that i was unaware of my eyes suddenly closing, drifting off into sleep.
