[in the hospital]
(Gordon p.o.v)
As I stood by the window all I could think about was Alan. I couldn't get over the fact that he's now in a coma and he was the one that got kidnapped. As I stared into space, I suddenly heard a voice saying.
"Hello Gordon, why are you out of bed?"
That startled me when I heard that so I turned around to see who said that and it was there I saw Lady Penelope and Parker standing in the doorway.
"Hey Lady Penelope and Parker. It's good to see the both you." I kindly greeted.
"It's good to see you Gordon. Now how about if you get into bed before your brothers and Gran show up?" Lady Penelope politely asked me.
I wanted to argue back but I knew she was right so I got back into bed but didn't put the covers on. Lady Penelope and Parker then sat on the two visitors seats next to my bed.
"So Gordon how are you feeling today?" Parker kindly asked.
"Bit better thanks Parker. My arm and leg still hurt and I've now found out that I've got a bruises. rib from when I dodged past those guards." I unhappily replied
"Oh dear Gordon looks like you've been in the wars as well." Lady Penelope pointed out.
"Not much as Alan has Lady Penelope." I said to her while settling my head on the pillow.
"I bet you didn't like seen Alan the way he was before getting him out of that cell Gordon." Parker guessed.
"No I didn't Parker. That was something that I won't forget." I honestly admitted.
"Can you remember anything after getting back in Thunderbird 4?" Lady Penelope kindly asked.
"Not much. All I remember was I got in, put Alan on the bench with a oxygen mask on him, started to drive away from the Hood's ship, switched to autopilot because my arm so painful, sat next to Alan and talk him and that's all I can remember. The next thing I knew I woke up to find myself in hospital and seeing Scott, John and Virgil." I honestly explained.
"To me Gordon that's a job well done saving Alan from the Hood." Parker said while patting my shoulder.
"Parker is right there Gordon. What you did was really brave and heroic. Your father would be proud of you." Lady Penelope kindly said to me.
I started to feel a bit a better. Suddenly I heard someone saying my name.
"Oh Gordon."
I turned my head to see where the voice came from and it was there I saw Grandma Tracy standing by there door. Then Scott, Virgil, John and Kayo came in all out of breath.
"Hi Grandma." I weakly said to her.
Grandma came up to me and hugged me really hard but I ended up having pain from my bad rib.
"Grandma I don't want to break up this hug but you're hurting my bruised rib." I breathlessly said.
Once she stopped hugging me, I managed to catch my breath. Just
"I know."
Just then a doctor came in and Grandma started to worry but Virgil reassured her saying that's he's Alan's doctor which calm her down a bit and then the doctor said.
"Hello everyone, my name is Doctor Smith, I've been treating your brother's condition."
We all said hello to him and it's was then Kayo asked whilst looking a bit worried.
"How bad is Alan's condition, doctor?"
"For what I can say miss is that young Alan is a very lucky boy because if he wasn't rescued any sooner he would've died from the infections from the wound on his arm."
Hearing what the doctor just said gave us a bit of sigh of relief.
"As for his current condition, I'm afraid the young lad has sustained a couple of injuries."
That made all of us worry hearing that Alan has a couple of injuries. So lady Penelope kindly asked.
"What injuries does he have Doctor?"
"I'm sorry for tell you all this but I'm afraid Alan has sustained quite a few injuries. He has a broken leg, several minor bruises and cuts all over his body and face and the head injury which caused him to be in a coma." The Doctor politely but sadly informed.
"When will he be well enough to wake up?" Grandma tearfully asked.
"We don't know exactly yet Mrs Tracy," the doctor honestly began saying, "We've had to put him on a ventilator to help him with his breathing since he can't breathe on his own at the minute."
We all didn't like what the doctor said about Alan. It just made we all sad even more including me. Our poor little brother was severely injured, comatose from his head injury and now on life support.
"Are we allowed to go and see him please doctor?" John asked.
"Of course Mr Tracy. Allow me to take you all to his room." The doctor kindly said.
So before we left, I put on the hospital dressing gown and put on the hospital slippers. After I got the dressing gown and the slippers on, Grandma held her arm out for me to support on.

(Third person P.O.V)
Once they've got outside Alan's room, the doctor then left and they all quietly went inside. When they were all inside, they were all shocked to see the state Alan was in.
Alan had a bandage round his head where he had the operation at, his face was covered in cuts and his left eye was black, his wounded arm was bandaged like Gordon's arm, he had bruises all over his right arm and left, his one leg had a red plaster cast on it and he had tubes in his mouth hooked on the ventilator.
Grandma Tracy helped Gordon sit down on one of the chairs that was on the right side of Alan's bed then she sat on the chair next to Gordon. John and Virgil sat on chairs that's was on the right side of the bed and so did Lady Penelope while Parker and Kayo stood behind them. Scott sat on the edge of the bed.
"He's looks so peaceful like that." Lady Penelope gently said.
"The poor lad. He shouldn't have all these injuries." Parker said.
Gordon started crying but was comforted by Grandma Tracy.
"He shouldn't be like this. He's only 14 years old." Gordon sobbed.
John didn't say anything neither did Virgil, Kayo or Grandma Tracy. As for Scott, he took a big deep breathe whilst standing by the wall said while trying not to cry as well.
"What's done is done. Neither of us can change the fact that our baby brother is now in a coma because of the Hood. All we can do now as a family is to wait when Alan is ready to wake up by himself."
Everyone agreed to what Scott said. Lady Penelope, Parker, Grandma Tracy and Kayo left to get refreshments while the boys stayed with Alan.
"How are we going to manage doing our rescues?" Virgil quietly said.
"We're just have to try Virgil." Scott whispered to himself while leaning against the door.
John held Alan's hand and started to gently stroked Alan's forehead then gently said.
"It's hard not hearing or to talking him for while. We're going to have to get use to not hearing Thunderbird 3 launching for bit."
"You're right there John." Virgil said while wiping his tears away then put his hand on Alan's stomach.
Gordon held Alan's left hand and then leaned his head on Alan's arm and gently said to him.
"Hey there bro, I know that you can't talk to us right now but you can still hear us and I just want to say that what you did not telling the Hood about us and our Thunderbirds was a really brave thing you did."
After Gordon was finished, he started crying. Virgil cleared his throat and slowly started saying.
"Take all the time you need to heal Alan. All for us will be waiting for you when you're ready to wake up and we promise that we won't let you out of our sights again."
When he was finished, Virgil gently stood up and leaned over Alan and gave him a kiss on his forehead. John did the same and tearfully said.
"Don't you worry little brother the 4 of us will never leave your side. We're going to be here till you wake up. That's a promise." John said then leaned his head on Alan's shoulder and started crying.
Scott gently walked back up to the bed and gently leaned his arms on the end and looked up towards Alan.
"Alan what all of us is trying to say is that we're very proud of your bravery against the Hood. We are going to miss you not moaning to go out, your laugh and you launching Thunderbird 3 for a while but we are going to our very best to bring you back to us." Scott said with all his strength.
After he was finished, Scott broke down in tears. Virgil got up and comfort Scott and so did John and Gordon. The only thing that the 4 Tracy's could think about is when will Alan wake up.
