<few hours later>
[outside Alan's room]
(Third person p.o.v)
When Scott, Gordon and John arrived at the hospital. They had to be escorted to Alan's room by a nurse. Once they got to the room, they very quietly went in.
[inside Alan's room]
When they went inside, Virgil immediately got up from his chair and went over to hugged them.
"Are you guys ok? After I heard what happened back home, I got so worried." Virgil worriedly asked.
"Relax Virgil, we're fine apart from Scott. He got hit on the back of his head by one of the Hood's men." Gordon explained.
"And before you ask Virgil, I'm fine now just got a bit of a headache." Scott reassuringly said.
"That's a relief," Virgil began saying, "at least now we can all move on from what's happened."
Scott, John and Gordon all agreed to what Virgil had just said. Soon as they all sat down, Scott, John and Gordon were surprised by the space theme around the room and the sheets on Alan's bed. Virgil noticed and happily chuckled at them.
"How do you guys like the room then?" Virgil then asked.
"I like it. It seems more homely for Alan." John happily said.
"Whose idea was it to move him in here?" Scott kindly asked.
"Lady Penelope's," Virgil began saying, "the Doctor told me last night and may I ask, what's in the bag? And who pilot my ship?"
"Relax Virgil, Gordon and I piloted thunderbird 2 and there isn't a scratch or mark on her." Scott reassuringly said.
"The bag has Alan's helmet, radio and few pictures of the five of us, one photo of thunderbird 3 and one with Dad when he was a baby. I thought it would be a good idea to bring these things so that when Alan wakes up, he'll see things that are familiar to him." Gordon explained.
"That's a good idea Gordon. How about if we put them up now?" Virgil suggested.
"Good idea Virgil. Luckily for us, I brought some sellotape." John happily said.
So the boys took the photos and gently stuck them above Alan's bed. As for his helmet and radio, John put them on the end of Alan's bed. When they finished, they all sat back down again. It was John surprisingly suggested
"Hey guys, why we don't all talk about our favourites rescues with Alan in thunderbird 3? Alan might like to hear that."
"That's a good idea John." Gordon agreed.
"Yeah let's do that. But which rescues should we all talk about though?" Virgil then asked.
"I've got one." Scott happily said.
"Which one is that Scott?" John politely asked.
"I think you all are going to love and laugh at this one I did with Alan. The one with Haley's comet." Scott revealingly replied.
"Oh I remember that one. If I remember correctly, someone didn't get along with Francois Lemaire." Gordon said whilst chuckling.
"Very funny Gordon. But honestly, my favourite moment was watching Alan on how he guided thunderbird 3 out of that comet like it was a game. I never felt so proud of him during that rescue." Scott tearfully said while wiping a tear from his eye.
After listening to what Scott said of his favourite rescue. Gordon decided to next and already knew of his favourite rescue with Alan. So he slowly began said.
"I know you three probably know this but I going to say it. My favourite rescue with Alan was when we saved Buddy and Ellie from that planet near Jupiter."
"You're right there Gordon." Virgil began saying whilst chuckling, "knew that was your favourite because you wouldn't stop talking about afterwards."
"I felt sorry for Alan being stuck with you in thunderbird 3." John teased.
"Look, I know I was excited that I got to meet Buddy and Ellie but honestly though, it's my favourite because I loved how well Alan did during that rescue during that rescue and I got to spend time with him." Gordon quietly admitted to his brothers.
John smiled and put his hand on Gordon's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.
"You're not the only one Gordon, we all do love spending time with Alan up in thunderbird 3." Scott sweetly said.
Gordon smiled at Scott after listening to what he just said. It was then John decided to go next and knew his favourite.
"My favourite rescue with Alan and I don't care if you three laugh at it," John began saying, "but my favourite was when me and Alan was in Eden with captain O'Bannon."
"Oh we remember that one John perfectly." Scott said whilst trying not to laugh.
"Yeah who knew that you scream like girl John." Gordon giggled.
"Whatever Gordon but my favourite bit of that rescue was when Alan was on my shoulders while Captain O'Bannon and those two pirates were on clipped on behind me." John happily said whilst trying not to cry.
"You always use to love doing that with him when he was little." Scott kindly said.
"Yeah I know." John said whilst sniffling.
"Your turn Virgil, what's your favourite rescue with Alan?" Gordon then asked.
Virgil smiled a bit as he knew deep down which rescue was his favourite.
"My favourite rescue with Alan was when we went up the mars colony to save captain Taylor and that professor. My favourite bits were when we talking about Dad on our way and when I saw his smile when me, captain Taylor and the professor got back on thunderbird 3." Virgil proudly said whilst smiling.
"You nor Alan said that you talked about Dad during that rescue in thunderbird 3." Scott surprisingly pointed out.
"It was by accident. I accidentally mentioned the drills Dad made us do but forgot that Alan didn't do them. It was then Alan asked me about Dad as he was starting to forget the little things about him so I told him and he liked it." Virgil explained as he held Alan's hand.
Scott, John and Gordon felt bad after Virgil was finished. They didn't realised on how much Alan didn't know about their father. It was then John suggestively said.
"Maybe the four of us should talk more about Dad to Alan when he wakes up because it isn't fair on him not knowing him in the way we do."
Virgil, Scott and Gordon all agreed to what John suggested to them. As the four of them looked at Alan, they still felt the heartache of not hearing him. So Scott, whilst trying to gather all his strength, gently said.
"Hey Alan, I just want you to know that I've always been so proud of you. Especially when we do rescues together. Please come back to us now? Please?"
Scott then broke down into tears but was pulled into hug by Virgil. Virgil, who was crying himself, turned to John and Gordon and tearfully said.
"You two say your bit, I already said my bit last night to him."
John let Gordon go before him. Gordon, who was crying himself, sadly said.
"Hey Allie, I know me and you always wind each other up but I love you bro. I've hated these past few months because I still hear your last words you said to me before you blacked out. Please wake up, please?"
Gordon then placed his head and arms on the side of Alan's bed and broke down crying. John then held Alan's other hand and slowly but tearfully said.
"Hey little bro, I just want you to know that I've always loved your calls to me when you're up in thunderbird 3 and I love it when we team up to do rescues together in space. Please wake up? We all just want you back."
After John was finished, he also began crying. Scott then suggested to do that they should all do their countdown numbers. So the four of them stood up and then they individually said.
"5", said John.
"4", said Gordon.
"2", said Virgil.
"1", said Scott
Then suddenly out of nowhere a voice said.
"3"
Scott, Virgil, John and Gordon were all surprised after they head that. They all looked at each other then all said.
"Who said that?"
Just then Virgil noticed Alan's fingers beginning to move. So he quickly said.
"Guys look."
As the others turned to face Alan. They were shocked to see all of Alan's fingers moving and it was then they started to see his eyes slowly fluttering. Suddenly they all saw the baby blue eyes of their little brother again and when Alan fully woken up, he saw the eyes of his oldest brothers so he gently smiled and weakly said.
"Hey guys, missed me?"
Scott, Virgil, Gordon and John were all that shocked that the only thing they all said.
"Alan."
