Alex Hood was at Defense Class. She was practicing her spells as she waited for the other girls to come. Stephanie Darkness was there getting all the fencing clothing ready. When all the girls came in, Alex sat in the back. "Welcome." Said Stephanie. She was holding a fencing sword. "Today, for defense class, we will be doing fencing. Yes fencing is a type of fighting but it teaches you how to dodge and how to defend yourself with a weapon. For this class, we will also be doing Martial arts. First we will be doing Aikido since it's a peaceful type of Martial arts." She said and then she started to pass out the fencing clothing and the fencing swords. Alex put her's on and so did the others such as Agatha and Sophie.
Each girl was put in pairs with their room mates. Agatha was paired with Sophie, Arabella was paired with Belle, Alex was paired with Harmony her room mate though they have not spoken to each other yet. They were all taught the stands and how to defeat your room mate. It took about twenty minutes for the girls to get a hang of it except Harmony who was used to it since she did swordsmanship with her mother, Mulan. The girls were now doing fencing. They were taught to defend yourself and how to use their brains to win the match. After thirty more minutes of training, they werehaving matches with other girls.
It was, Agatha vs Arabella, Sophie vs Harmony, Alex vs Belle. All the girls were amazing at defeding themselves and using their intelligence. But Sophie was just struggling with the getting the other thing. She would keep missing. Miss Stephanie tried her best but it wasn't enough. So she told Sophie she would have special afternoon classes with her. Sophie was grateful even though it was hard work that made it really hard to deal with her hair being messed up. But she had to pass because this class would be a very important class for her. She got the defence part just not the offence part. But Agatha knew she could do it. All the girls did as well knew she could do it. Defence class was hard but it was worth it. Now, during the matches, the winners were, Arabella, Harmony, Alex. It was a great class for all these girls. Even for Harmony because she learned knew stands and how to defend yourself then attack in many different ways. These girls learned well, which was good because it would help them.
