Holding a bunch of books and earphones in his hands, Jungkook made his way out of the campus doors. The university exams were nearing. The library was buzzing with students too. Even the garden area in front of the campus building, was filled with students. Everything in the campus screamed one word and that was, EXAMS.

Jungkook first thought of studying in the campus but he hated the atmosphere. Not that the college wasn't peaceful, just that everyone around him, studying hard wouldn't help him concentrate and the only other place in the middle of winter where he could get comfortable was the café which was situated two blocks away from the campus.

After showing his ID card to the watchman at the exit door, he swiftly put it back in the pocket of his skinny black jeans along with his handphone. He was grateful that the black hoodie that he wore kept him warm from the cold.

Within no time, he was at the entrance of the café. He wished he had walked a bit slowly. He just wanted to take in the beauty of the weather that day. Though it was a really short walk, the quiet lanes, the freezing breeze, the lifeless trees along the road which only waited to bloom to the fullest in the coming seasons, captivated him. If it wasn't for the exam time, he would definetely go back and just saunter along the city lanes.

The café wasn't empty. There were people sitting here and there some of them being his own classmates. He gently smiled and waved at them and settled himself by the table at the corner. The lighting was dim but was fair enough for him to study.

He opened his book, took out his note pad and started scribbling something. It was his study plan. He was never a person to procrastinate stuff. He always went through what was taught by the end of the same day. So, he just had to revise.

"Sir, your order please?" A waitress asked just before he slid his earphones into his ears.

"Yes, one caramel macchiato please." He replied.

He went back to scribbling something. His plan for today was to complete revising reactions in Organic chemistry.

After a while, the waitress arrived with the drink and Jungkook put his books aside to savour the steaming cup of delicious drink. He looked around the café. His eyes darted on a certain brown haired male seated across the other corner of the room. The said male smiled as he looked through the glass window.

Jungkook wondered what made him smile, he involuntarily followed his gaze, to look through the glass. Across the lane, was a little girl sitting on a bench, beside her was an elderly lady who seemed to be the girl's grandmother. The girl held a bunch of toffees in her hand and was deeply concentrated on distributing them between her and the old lady.

With each toffee she shared, the girl smiled and kissed the lady on the fore head. She also was saying something to her. After being done with the toffee distribution, the girl grinned ear to ear, feeling proud of herself.

Both the males at the café smiled unknowingly at the cute scene, one showing off his bunny teeth and the other, his boxy smile. Jungkook, with his smile still plastered onto his face, returned his gaze onto the male. Never had he expected the other male to look at him at the same time. Their smiles faded.

Jungkook's ears went red in embarrassment. He quickly cutoff his gaze and randomly scribbled something. He could notice the other male standing up. He lifted his head only to meet eyes with the brunet again. This time, the brunet was already settling himself infront of him.

"Hey! I'm Taehyung," he introduced himself, holding his hand out.

"H..hi, my name's Jungkook." He replied with a stutter and shook hands with him.
