Frozen Fire

Chapter 1

"Alright now that you've changed it's time to get on the bus," Aizawa said. Shouto sat next to the window and was quite surprised when Katsuki sat next to him. "Shut up and don't talk to me," Katsuki growled. Shouto just nodded and leaned his head against the window and closing his eyes. He opened his eyes when Katsuki nudged him. "We're almost there," Katsuki mumbled. "Hey Shouto is it true that your dad will be there," Deku asked. "Actually Thirteen, Recovery Girl, Midnight, Vlad King, All Might, Nezu, Cementoss, Snipe, Ectosplasm, Present Mic, and Endeavor are going to be there to ensure you all safety," Aizawa stated from the front. "That seems like overdoing it," Deku said. "That's what we are hoping for.If villains somehow managed to find out, we're hoping they would avoid it because of everyone that's going," Aizawa said.

"That's a smart plan," Tsuyu said. "actually my dad wasn't supposed to go because he's the number one hero, so why is he going now," Shouto asked as they got off the bus. "Your dad is very convincing. He mentioned that both you and Katsuki have fire quirks and could help you both become better at them. At least that's what I was told," Aizawa said. "He can't be that bad he's Endeavor," Eijirou said. "Yeah after all he is the number one hero now," Denki said. "Would you idiots shut up," Katsuki growled. Everyone shut up not really wanting to make him angry. "You have till three to get to the facility. Your time starts now," Aizawa said. Everyone rushed down the cliff and into a soft pile of snow before rushing into the forest.

~Time Skip~

"Welcome back heroes," Pixie-Bob chirped happily. "Who's excited for training? You have a lot to live up for everything that's happened," Present Mic stated. "Alright, since the day is still young you're going with the same people to train as last time. Except Katsuki and Shouto, you'll be training with Endeavor to help strengthen your fire quirks," Mandalay stated. With that everyone separated into their groups.

~Time Skip to sunset~

"Shouto," a familiar feminine voice said as they got closer to facility after working on their training for the day. "Mom," Shouto mumbled as he was hugged tightly. "They released her a few days ago," Fuyumi stated happily. "That's good i guess," Shouto said quietly and hugged his mom back. Their dinner Endeavor forced them to sit together. The tension was high between the two brothers and their father. "We'll be sharing a room together. Perks of being a family," Fuyumi said, "it should be less crowded than the room you share with all the boys." "That's great," Natsuo said sarcastically, "why did we have to come again?"  "Family bonding," Endeavor stated. "Then you should have waited till after i finished camp," Shouto said getting up and joining the class. Midnight had whispered to him team bonding had started just in case he wanted to join, when she and the other pro heroes collected dishes. She could sense the tension.

"Boys just try for me," Rei pleaded. Natsuo sighed and relaxed a little. Meanwhile, with the class Shouto joined them next to the bonfire they had made. He sat next to Katsuki. Everyone was chatting amongst except Katsuki. "Hey," Katsuki said when he sat down. "Hi," Shouto mumbled. "You don't really like your old man do you," Katsuki asked. "He just wants to use me for my quirk," Shouto replied playing with the snow near the logs they were sitting on.. "I know i have no right to say this but it looks like he is trying to make amends for it," Katsuki said. "He probably wants me to just be happy so i don't leave after i graduate," Shouto said and sighed. "Just give him a chance. If not for you then for your family," Katsuki said. Shouto sighed. "You're more than your quirk, Shouto," Katsuki told him. "I guess," Shouto mumbled. "Im serious," Katsuki said. "Thanks," Shouto said. After a few minutes of conversing it was time to go inside because it started to snow really bad.

"Where is Shouto," Deku asked. "He said he is rooming with his family," Katsuki said. "And how did you know this," Tenya asked. "Because he told me," Katsuki said. "Duh," Denki said. "I know that but how did you know this and not us," Tenya said. "Because we were talking during the bonfire," Katsuki said. "that's unlike you," Denki said. "Do you want to get punched," Katsuki asked shutting Denki up immediately.
