"Shoto," Ochaca said happily and ran up to him. "How are you feeling," She asked as everyone crowded around. "I'm fine just overheated," Shoto said. "You should go lay down," Katsuki said setting a hand on his shoulder. Shoto nodded and Katsuki made sure he got to his room okay. Katsuki laid out the matt for him to sleep on. Shoto fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. Katsuki looked back and sighed. He pulled the covers over Shoto and felt his forehead. 'He feels cold'. There was a knock on the door causing him to turn to look at the door. "How is he," Deku asked. "I don't really know. He passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow. He feels cold to the touch," Katsuki said. "Is that a good thing," Deku asked. "I don't know, cold to the touch versus someone actually being cold can sometimes be separated. If that makes sense," Katsuki said.
"Yeah that makes sense like he feels cold but to himself, he could feel warm or hot. Like the effect of having a fan on you but you're also covered with a thick blanket. It cools the skin that's not under the blanket. Or if your skin is overall cold but you yourself actually feel fine...." Deku said and continued muttering. "Alright that's enough jeez, let's give him some space," Katsuki said getting up and pushing Deku out of the room. Katsuki shut the door behind himself and went to his room. 'I'll check on him in a few minutes, we just got home. I'm sure his skin is just cold because of that' Katsuki said to himself.
Katsuki took a 3-hour nap before waking himself up and forcing himself out of the coziness of his own bed and tiredly went to check on Shoto. "Dude are you or Shoto going to have dinner? It's already 6 p.m," Eijirou asked stopping Katsuki in the hall. "Probably not, I'm not hungry, and I'm sure Shoto is still asleep," Katsuki said. "Well alright, I'll see you in the morning," Eijirou said and waved him goodbye. Katsuki stepped into the elevator and hit the 5th-floor button and waited tiredly. He trudged to Shoto's room and opened it and quietly went inside. Katsuki knelt down and felt his forehead. 'It's colder than before' "Shoto wake up," Katsuki said. Shoto slowly opened his eyes and sat up. "Are you feeling alright," Katsuki asked. "Yeah just a bit cold," Shoto asked. "After the hero license test you went to father's house but coming back you lightly flinched when someone would touch you for a few days. Did your dad do something," Katsuki asked. Shoto stiffened and nodded. He hugged his waist. "H-he was just angry I didn't get my license. I-It's not his fault I'm scared of my own quirk so I don't use all of my power," Shoto said.
"That shouldn't be a reason to beat you," Katsuki said tiredly. "I know it's not," Shoto said. "He's trying to get better...supposedly," Shoto said. Katsuki hugged Shoto once he noticed Shoto was shaking. Katsuki laid down next to Shoto. "You're freezing, "Katsuki said. Shoto buried his head into Katsuki's chest and ended up falling asleep. The two awoke the next morning to Shoto's phone going off. The two groaned at the annoyance. "Shoto?! SHOTO?! Please come help dad's missing and his office was destroyed. Please, we're all scared," Fuyumi said frantically in the phone. "Alright alright I'll leave in a few minutes," Shoto said groggily. "Please hurry," FUyumi said. While the phone call was happening Katsuki slipped out and went to his room and quickly changed into normal clothes. "Good morning Katsuki," Ochaca greeted. "Good morning," Katsuki greeted back. "Woah you're being nice," Mina mumbled under her breathe causing the girls to giggle. "Alright everyone time for some hero work, Bakugo and Shoto you two will stay here since you didn't pass the hero license test," Aizawa said once Shoto got down.
"Actually I have a family emergency. My sister is freaking out over something that is probably no big deal," Shoto said. "I see, then Bakugo you should go with Shoto. Stay together. It might be hard to get to your house tho. Streets are crowded trying to see that action of the heroes," Aizawa said. With that everyone scrambled to get ready and Shoto and Bakugo headed out. Several people kept pushing and elbowing them. Shoto was pushed particularly hard, sending him into Bakugo on accident. "Sorry," Shoto whispered. "It's alright," Bakugo said keeping an arm around Shoto's waist to help keep the two together.
