Chapter 5

The next couple of months Shoto and Katsuki did a lot of chores while everyone else did hero work. "You wouldn't have to do this if you weren't so scared of your own quirk," Katsuki said on a day to which Shoto only looked down the rest of the chore. Endeavor returned even though he was beaten up a little and explained he went to the hospital after the incident and they wouldn't let him get out of the bed till he fully recovered. This made the Todoroki family slightly relieved. 

One cold day Endeavor took his son out for the day to try and get Shoto to...well trust him. During their time out together Class 1A were having a bonding time to try and strengthen their teamwork skill. Two villains that looked somewhat related attacked Endeavor and Shoto. "Shoto stay back," Endeavor stated. Shoto stepped back slightly. The battle edged on for a couple of minutes when Class 1A popped up. "One more step and the multicolored hair boy gets it," the one with blue and purple eyes growled. One of his monsters wrapped around Shoto and then tightened its grip around his neck, causing him to gasp for air. "Shoto," Deku yelled out but before he could try and get to the boy Aizawa pulled him back. "This is something you might experience as heroes. You'll need to figure out how to rescue him without jumping straight into the fight again," Aizawa explained. "None of us stepped forward so why did those monsters grab Shoto," Ochaca questioned. "A way to ensure they have the upper hand," Aizawa explained. "We need to think, any longer Todoroki might pass out from lack of air," Katsuki said. "Put my son down," Endeavor said. "Watch the heroes for now," Aizawa said. 

"Make us," the two said. Deku was itching to save Shoto; however, he knew it wouldn't be the right time. "These idiots are going against the plan," Dabi muttered from afar. "In fact, you better watch yourself Endeavor because if we find you again, you will not survive. Take this as your warning. Ren go ahead," the one with the multicolored hair and eyes said. (See my OC book for more information.) "Got it, brother Kai," the Ren said and used his Quirk Manipulation quirk on Shoto just like the many other times. Shoto screamed in pain. "Feels like you're being ripped apart, doesn't it. It's like your body can't make up its mind right? Especially with your quirk. It keeps switching temperature based on which Quirk I want to control," Ren said laughing evilly. "Shoto," Class 1A screamed. "That's enough idiots. It's time to leave. You've done enough," Dabi growled and pulled the two away. With that, the three disappeared and the monsters followed suit, and the one carrying Shoto dropped him.

 His father managed to catch him but not before he fell unconscious. "At least we know how and who was behind his temperature changes," Mr. Aizawa said. "Get the car," Endeavor told a bodyguard. "And you call the Hashimoto family," he told the other one."He won't be coming to school for a while," Endeavor said with a growl. "Dude has issues," Deku mumbled causing Katsuki to slap him upside the head. "Shut up idiot," Katsuki said. "Let's get back to class," Mr. Aizawa said.

After a few weeks, the class started getting worried. "Relax. Endeavor mentioned the Hashimoto family, they have a daughter that has a healing quirk. She's around your age and she's great at her quirk. If you want to talk to her she is in class 1H or you could go to his house and check on him there," Mr. Aizawa said. "Could you give us his house address. We were thinking of getting him a get well basket," Deku asked. "I know how to get there. I'll take you guys," Katsuki said with a sigh. "Alright!" the class cheered. "Don't forget you guys have a hero activity this afternoon. Katsuki can do your shopping while you do the activity," Aizawa said pissing Katsuki off. During lunch, everyone made a list together and gave it to Katsuki after lunch. "I'm only getting him things he would need. Like a jar of honey? He doesn't have a sore throat. Plus we don't have a lot of money. We're teenagers with no job," Katsuki stated. "Fine then soba and the sweaters and the blankets," Deku said. "Agreed," Tenya said overly enthusiastic.
