The Average Misunderstood Teenager

The first day

So now that you know a little bit about my family I can tell You some stuff about me! So first things kinda obvious I'm 16 I live with my moms, and siblings. I have violet and crimson red hair that goes to about the bottom of my collarbone. I have freckles all over my face and body. I have heterochromia so I have a blue eye, and a brown eye. I wear contacts most of the time and I change between red, yellow(wolf-like), and purple like moms. Piercings I have: snake bites, a labret, a septum, right nose ring, angel bites, an industrial on my right ear, daith on the right ear, helix on left ear, tragus on both ears, 1 standard lobe piercing, and gages that are 5mm on both ears... I also have a tongue piercing and a belly button ring. I only have 2 tattoos because I'm 16 and I only wanted 2 for right now. The 2 tattoos I have are 1 is the Slytherin crest from harry potter on my right forearm, and the other is a mother-daughter tattoo on my left wrist that says "I was chosen" with a heart made of butterfly wings, that both mom(Ranea), and mom(Nova) have matching hearts but they say "We chose you". Oh yeah, I forgot to mention even though im the 2nd oldest they chose/adopted me first out of all of us. I cannot express how grateful I am that they did. I was 10 when they adopted me.

I was a bit of an outcast so to say. I was the elementary kid that loved ghost, witches, anything horror related, and my favorite thing ever was the moon/the night. So I would stay up until about 3am just watching the stars. My birth parents weren't that bad but they did have issues. My "dad" had a serious drinking problem and he would hurt my mom. Whereas mom resorted to drugs trying to numb the pain from dad. One night I decided I didn't want to hear the cries so I ran away and I ended up at the park laying on a bench looking up and watching the stars. Then all of a sudden I heard a car drive up and stop when I looked up it was a police officer who had come looking for me. He took me to the station where I sat and waited they asked me questions about mom and dad and I answered everything truthfully. After I answered everything my aunt came and picked me up. I stayed with her for about a month then she couldn't keep me anymore. That is when I met Nova and Ranea Stone. They were 2 very amazing people that I was so happy I got to meet. After being with them for about a year I found out why I had to leave my other family. I found out that mom had been hurt so bad she ended up in the hospital, and shortly after she passed away from her injuries. I also found out that my birth father had been imprisoned for domestic abuse, he ended up getting life in prison without parole because though I haven't mentioned it to anyone sometimes when my mom wasn't home or so high she couldn't do anything he would end up hurting me too. But enough with all the sad stuff this is supposed to be a fun story of how I felt in the crazy nerve-wracking high school situations we all know, heard of, or will soon know/learn about. So now that you know a lil about me and my fam we can get to the good stuff.

Now I'm 16 and I'm a junior in high school and no I will not be going back to freshman or sophomore year good try, but those are completely different stories for different times. Now I guess I can start from the beginning of junior year(even though rn its already 2 months into school). So I had been to heritage for the last two years so nothing was really new as well as I was a junior now I was on the top of the high school food chain(even though I was known as the "emo" of the school). I had my group of friends I knew most of the seniors some of the sophomores and even some freshman. But the whole time all I could think about was Allex*flashback/ mental thought bubble* "ahh Allex Rosella the cutest, funniest, and sweetest nerd you would find. He is a year older than me but still in my grade. His older sister and I have been best friends since I started to go to Celestial high,And since the first time I went over to their house I couldn't stop thinking about him.. I mean they are the definition of the cute nerd everyone wants. They were tall with that whole nerd look but if you took off their glasses and put them in a suit they would be a frickin model I tell you. But I like them how they are and I only said that so you can imagine how frickin cute/hot they are. So after a while, we started to hang out as friends because they are bi so I didn't wanna push anything. Mind you all I have to do anymore is put out my hand and they will start holding it even though we are not dating. But they have moments you would think they are completely gay with how they act,which! btw they aren't fully gay I know cus they told me anyway... *Back to what I was saying.* When I got to school that first day I immediately went to our same spot as last year and there they were with a few other of our friends. When they saw me they ran up to me and hugged me then, of course, grabbed my hand as per usual. They ran to me halfway down the hall from our actual spot so we walked back holding hands and my "brother" or as most know him, Jude Crossfeild. I have known him since 3rd grade and we had our phases but he is one of my closest friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. Then there was his girlfriend or my cal. Her full name is Callista Mayfrost. She is one of my best friends as well and I love her and Jude together(if you haven't realized most of our little group is my besties). Then there is also my best friend and my sister who I've known since kindergarten and that's my lia, Ophelia Thasher.She is there with one of my besties and her boyfriend Atlas Grimoire . Atlas is a year younger but he is still really cool and funny. Then finally is my Sibyl Juniper . She, of course, is there with her Boyfriend as well which is Wren Quinn, I don't know him much they are happy together so that is what counts. When Allex and I walk back the first thing I hear is from my brother and he says "Well look who finally showed up". He said that because school starts at 7:40, the doors open at 7:00, and we all normally arrive at the spot from 7:05-7:10 is I got there at 7:15. "Jeez I was 5 minutes late give a girl a break, " I said while chuckling at the end.  Sibyl laughs back, her and Jude almost in unison say "Are you to dating yet?!". I yell at them " Really guys when are you gonna give that up."Then Lia chimes in "Seriously why aren't you two together yet you already act like a couple."; "As I have said before I'm totally ok with it, but, Allex has to ask me first," I say with a joking tone. Then next thing I know I feel Allex's hand pull out of mine and right before I ask why they pulled away, I turn and see them rush to their backpack to pull something out. When I look they pull out an envelope and tells me to open it, everyone, as well as I, look at them confused. They look back with a smile to me and says "Just open it". I glance around everyone seems eager except Lia and Jude they are just smiling waiting for my reaction to what was about to happen. So I open it inside is a note so I unfold it and start reading and all of a sudden I start crying and smiling. I run to Allex, hug them and just say "Of course I will". Lia and Jude smile at each other and at the same time just say " told ya". Everyone else and now probably you too, looked confused. Then Allex pulled from my hug and once more reached in their  backpack and this time pulled out a teddy bear and one of their hoodies that I loved but that was also so big on them it fits me(I used to steal it from them a lot). Once again everyone just looked at me and said: "WHAT DID IT SAY!". Allex and I turned and smiled I replied to them by saying "Looks like everyone in the group is in couples now.". Then they all jumped and smiled all I heard from Sibyl was "Finally jeez took ya long enough boy!". Then I looked at my brother and sister and say "how did you know?". My brother responded with "who else was he gonna ask for how to ask you?" Lia chimed in "Or what to give you when you said yes?". I smiled and hugged them then said: "I love you guys". They both smiled at each other and said at the same time like normal " Oh we know!". Then we all talked some more till the bell rang for the first hour. I said goodbye to Atlas, Lia, Sibyl, and Wren cus they had class in the 100's and Allex, Jude, Cal, and I walked to the 200s halfway to our class Allex and I said bye to Cal and Jude because their class was before ours. Then we continued to walk to our class(Allex and I had the same 1st-5th hours and lunch together). When we walked in my baby(my best friend Jolene) looked at me and said what takes their jacket again? I said, "nope my partner gave it to me this time". Jolene just looked up so confused "YOUR PARTNER?". I smiled and said "yeah my partner. You know this tall string bean right here that took forever to ask me!". Jolene laughed at me of course what I heard was "wow finally figured out how you were gonna ask her? The jacket and bear are nice touches." she said as she smiled and winked. " My god you knew about it too!" I said to her. She laughs " No I knew they wanted to but just couldn't figure out how.". "Yeah, Jude and Lia helped me with how and what to get her if she said yes." Allex responded. Then I chimed in " Actually Lia  said 'When I said yes' so she knew, meaning ... did you think I was gonna say no?!". "I wasn't sure I mean you can be a bit harsh look at what happened when Reese asked you-you laughed in his face then just said 'your joking right?' How do you think that made me feel?" Allex said as they turned to face me. "Well here's a newsflash since I meet you when I went over to hang out with Jessabelle I have kinda... Maybe... Liked you a lil" I say hiding my face in the jacket he gave me. " Aww your so adorable," they said smiling. " Oh my gosh, this is gonna get real annoying quick," Jolene said jokingly to us. Then after we choose our seats, Allex, next to me and me next to my baby more people started to file in the classroom. I knew many of them. Then my girls walked into the room and I ran over and hugged them. My girls were Harper Beckett,Fawn Magnolia(my Bambi's), and Anya Mayberry(my May May ). They all came over and sat near us the rest of the class I wasn't very close to so I just kinda ignored them. When class started everyone filed in I was so happy that we got Mr.Crimson. He is super chill and laid back and you choose your seat the whole year. It was history and the first day so not much unusual happened, but, at one point near the end of the hour, Mr.Crimson turned to me and Allex. He had us together last year too. He looked at us and said, "so how's the happy couple?". Allex and I turned and just started laughing. Mr.Crimson looked at us again and said: " did they finally ask you girly?". I just smiled at him and said "yeah they did. Took them long enough though". Then Mr.Crimson and I just started laughing to then the hour was over and we said goodbye and started towards our next class. We had Chemistry next(and btw yes I know how ironic that is). For Chemistry we had Mr.Paradox who was my teacher last year as well he is really chill(or at least to me he is and he didn't have Allex before so I introduced him). Allex And I walked in holding hands as per usual and Mr. Paradox glanced at me and just goes " Sup lil firecracker? Oh is your partner in our class?". I Laughed/smiled at him and said: " Yeah, this is Allex". I then squeeze Allex's hand to get their attention. They quickly turned and introduced themself. " Oh uhm yeah, hi I'm Allex. And no need to be rude, but, Why did you call Jessy(their nickname for me) firecracker?". Mr. Paradox and I looked at each other laughed and then I slightly slumped my head waiting for him to explain my nickname. "Oh, she didn't tell you that story huh? Well, I had this one for physical science last year and was she something. She was always loud when I asked question we talked about Halloween and other lil things ,but, the real reason she earned the name 'Firecracker' is last year we were doing and experiment with changing the color of a flame and this one took a piece of gold in her hand and put it over the flame which caused a LOUD popping noise and everyone thought someone had a firecracker. So that is why she is 'Firecracker'". Then Allex looked at me confused and said " you acted like that during class? Wait why am I not surprised, oh right it's you, Jessy". I smiled and Mr. place told us to choose our seat and I choose the table right in front of his desk and of course, Allex sat next to me. Then when the class started I saw a few of my other friends had the same class. A girl who I could tell was new to Celestial sat behind Allex and I. She was nice and so we became friends quick. The class was pretty uneventful except the whole beginning stuff with Mr.Paradox and Allex. The of course basic stuff onto the next class (these ones a lil more fun). Our next class was Play Production( I took it because my favorite teacher ever was the one that taught it). When we walked in some people were already there including Lia,Atlas, my friend Ulani, and my Ex(of course but he is still a friend) Ezra. When we walked in Lia ran over and hugged me, Atlas laughed and yelled "sup Raven!"(that's his nickname for me because for some reason I'm Raven and Allex is beast boy to him idk). Nani just smile and said, "oh it's my girl Jessica back in another class with me again!". I laughed at her and went and sat next to them. The with maybe 4 minutes till class started Ezra walked over and started talking (which was kinda weird because he isn't normally so pushy). When class started Mr.Kaylan introduced himself to the class like every year because there were some freshman and others who hadn't had him before. But then he spotted me and smiled " No I'm not gonna introduce myself in Japanese yet give me a few minutes Jess," he said. I laughed because I have had him for at least one class since freshman year and ever since I found out he could I ask him to introduce himself in Japanese on the first or second day of school so now he's used to it. When he said this though most of the class looked at me confused others smiled and were excited to hear him speak Japanese. When he was done handing out the basic stuff for the first day he walked over to my corner and said: " So jess I see you have a few friends this year... Now that will be entertaining." " Yeah, I do You already know Lia and Ezra. But this is Ulani, and this is Allex but Allex isn't really my 'friend'" I replied. "Of course how could I forget Ophelia or Ezra at this point. But nice to meet you Ulani, And Allex 'the Partner'." Mr.Kaylan and I laughed then he went and sat at his desk for the rest of class(we had like 15 minutes left when Kaylan finished). At one point Allex left to go to the bathroom and Ezra came and sat where Allex was which confused me a lil but I just shrugged it off. Then Ezra got weird asking why I choose them out of everyone to move on with and blah blah blah. I got to the point where I turned to him and just said " Look I know you're my ex and seeing me with someone else might be hard but you need to move on, let me move on, and butt out of my life and my choices. And not to mention why are you getting so offended?! News flash YOU DUMPED ME REMEMBER! You know if you're gonna act like this you're gonna wanna find a new seat real quick cuz I'm not gonna be dealing with you.". He looked back shocked and ended up moving on the other side of the room. None of my friends questioned it because they knew if I went off like that there was a good reason. By the time Allex got back everything happened and Ezra had already moved. So Allex sat down and just asked: " what's up with him?". I just said, "He's a jealous and pitty guy so I told him either grow up or move cuz I wasn't dealing with it". Allex just said, " That's my Jessy". Then the bell rang and off to our next class we went. This class again Lia, Atlas, Allex, And I all had together. It was astronomy. Allex and I took it out of interest Lia, and Atlas took it to have a class with us and as a blow off credit. We did the same thing when we entered the room find a place we all could sit together. There oddly was a lot of freshman in that class which kinda made me confused as to why we were there. Which that class is meant for upperclassmen so that many freshmen was the weird part. But we once again got the class basic like every other class and then moved on. Our next class and final one before lunch was Algebra 2. We had this class with Mr. Hindley which was awesome for me. He is a cool guy but the kind of teacher that you have to get his teaching style to understand what he actually says and lucky me I do. Just like I did last year I walked and yelled "HINDLEY!!". He quickly turned cus he knew it was me and smiled. He said "How's it going hotshot why you here? Wait don't tell me your in this class?". I smiled and said "Yeparoo I am. Think you can deal with me for another year?". He smiled "Yeah I think I can manage". Then we just laughed the rest of other people in there just looked confused. There were a few sophomores which surprised me but hey if they are smart then good for them. Allex found it funny with how close I was to most of my teachers. But I only get that close if they are a cool enough teacher which most I ended up with were. After class Allex and I walked to lunch we sat at the spot from last year. We were the first ones at the table and slowly the rest of our group trickled in. First came Lia, and Atlas, then it was Jude and Cal, and last was Wren and Sibyl. We all sat like usual Allex and I shared lunches because I would bring things they liked and vise versa. So Allex and I waited at the table while the others went to go get food. Allex and I traded as normal, but then the two people I was hoping so much not to see that day walked over to us. Those two people were Trevor and Wyatt. I used to like both until Trevor's psycho girlfriend tried to start beef with me, so instead of putting up with her whining I walked up to her looked her straight in the face and simply said " News flash honey if you are so fricken protective over your little boyfriend talk to him not me or take it as a compliment that someone thinks your boy is hot... MEANING you chose well because clearly, he wants you no one else so you can hop right on off my dick or I'll make sure you do. OK? GOT IT? GOOD!" and then I simply walked away. So Trevor does not like me in particular cause I didn't put up with his lil girlfriends crap. Now there is Wyatt or my former Gamin Guy. I liked him for about 4 months and I asked him to a dance he hurt himself so he couldn't go so I was annoyed and after that, we kinda stopped talking. He doesn't like me much anymore because I stopped talking to him and kinda just ignore him so all he does is look at me and laugh so I was tired of it. So neither of them like me too much and now they both started to walk over to Allex and I sitting at the table. Wy just kinda glared and Trev started talking, "So.. the sassy little bitch found someone? That's surprising.". I just looked up from Allex and I holding hands and pulled my hand away quick because I didn't want them to start trying to go after Allex. They looked up to me confused. Then Wy chimed in and just smirked at me and said: " Oh or was it just a little lie like everything else you say?". I looked over to them and replied " Ok how about you two don't try to start shit with me on the first day because I would love to not be suspended in the first week of school, and no I'm not lying about anything at least not to them where you two don't need to know anything other than they are my partner and though you both have small pathetic lives try to stay out of mine!". But when I went to turn Trevor stepped forward to slap me but before he could Allex stepped forward and caught his hand. Then they looked at them both in the eyes and said " Either of you come close to my girlfriend or even look her way one more damn time I swear, you will see the side of 'this nerd' nobody wants to see. Got it?". They looked back at us both and said to me " Wow looks like you finally found someone just as fuckin mental as you are!". Then they both walked off Trevor back to his little psycho and Wyatt to his little friends. Allex looked at me grabbed my hand and said "Don't ever pull your hand away from me because of two sad wastes of precious oxygen" I smiled, grabbed thier hand and said, "I won't". Then everyone else returned with food and looked at us confused because everyone in lunch was looking at Allex  and I confused and shocked because we were loud enough they heard everything. My "siblings" looked at me and said "well damn that's the sister we know and love" and then they looked over to Allex and said, "Damn didn't know you had that in you but I kinda liked how protective you got". Allex looked at me and said, "Well I never had to show that side of me before but the second they go to hit my girl 'they squeezed me' I don't fuck around". Jude looked at them and said "Damn right! Good pick big sis". I looked up smiled and Blushed. Then looked at them and said, "trust me I know". Then near the end of lunch, I decided to go to the library and say hi to my 2 favorite people. When I walked in they immediately saw me and said hi. Mrs.Ambrose saw me first which was no surprise. When she did she said, " Well hi there boo, how have you been today?". I smiled and just said, " I've been pretty good except Wyatt  and Trevor like normal, So how are you today kitty?". She then looked at me and said: "good just the norm of introducing things to freshman". Then she recognized Allex standing next to me holding my hand and that's when I heard, "Hey wazowski looks like our boo found a boo". Then Mrs.Halloway (aka Wazowski) came walking over and looked intrigued. We all have Monsters Inc. nicknames because unintentionally we all wore corresponding costumes for character day freshman year. When wazowski came over she laughed and said: "hey I know this one, she chose a good one". I laughed as did kitty but then Allex then said: "well she picked me but I also picked her". They both looked confused I laughed and turned "I've liked them for a while but I said they had to ask me out and so that's what they did". They both then looked at each other smiled and just said: "aww cute". Then I looked at kitty and just said: "so any new books or recommendations for me?". She smiled and said, " why of course don't I always?". We laughed and then walked over to the book stash she had to the side,I left Allex back to talk with Wazowski. When we walked back over Allex and Wazowski were laughing and I was slightly confused and intrigued. They both looked at me and Wazowski then said: "I was telling Allex here some stories of our fun adventures and times we've had, oh yeah like the Christmas tree, and the dragon wings". I covered my face in embarrassment and just said " ok cool but WHY?!". She laughed and said, " just because that reaction is the best thing I could ever ask for". I glared at her and said, " well being you ill let it go but please stop they know me well enough and has seen me at some of my worst/ most embarrassing moments so, please no more". She laughed and said "ok ok boo not unless your around next time"then proceeded to wink at me jokingly like she does all the time. For the rest of lunch Allex and I sat in my fav spot and just read the books we decided on. After not very long the bell rang and off to the next class we went.
