10 years later
Shawn sat in that same, sorrow some place. Dark purple circles trace his eyes as all happyness seemed to have been drained from his pale face as cuts traced up and down his skinny body.
He sat, thinking, love. He needed love, a queen for him. To stay.
Drip. Splat. Drip. Slat. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
"Hey! Boy! Are you alright!?" An unformilier voice shouts from over the horizon as it began to rain.
"You'll catch a cold." The voice grew closer, yet as it does, he realises its a female, she had a soft yet harsh voice, filled with concern.
Shawn sharply turned around as he stood.
"I'm ok...." His voice was weak and quiet, he wasn't used to speaking but he knew how too. He was so shy that he took quite a few steps back.
The girl grew close and stretched out a mindful hand.
"Here, I'll take you to a safe place... Out of the rain."
She had such a bright smile, kind and loving. Irresistible.... Lovable... Smile.
"A-Alright...." He couldn't turn her down, such a kind smile deserved respect. He had no time to think, and he didn't want time.... He didn't need it. Shawn grabbed her soft hand. The pale contrasted the darker olive skin tone. No matter how much time he spent outside, it was always cloudy were ever he was, it took shame apon him.
She yanked upwards with such strangth, nearly bringing him to his knees once again, yet she cought him.
"Woopsy daisy," she giggled softly, such a sweet sound.
Shawn melted in her arms. 'Wait' he thought, 'Shouldnt this be the other way around?'
He calmly disgarded the fact ashe was broken from his mindfulness by her voicce,
"By the way, I'm Max, Maxine Willford," she smiled once more.
"Sh-Shawn.... Allan..." He slightly shook.
"Alright Sh-Shawn," she giggles, "You can call me Max, and I'll call you, Shawn. Now let's get out of the rain."
SO they ran, far away, from this beautiful, deadly, cursed, rose patch. Other wise known as, The Deep Unknown.
